1. Result of racism+devaluation of honest labor among Israelis
5th generation ,   Israel   (11.22.10)
A recipe for disaster, and everything our country is supposed to be against. Maybe we're not worth saving.
2. Who cares? Let them strike and we will
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.22.10)
all fast. Food, we can live without it. The min. of finance should have been closed after the second lebanon war. They cut the defense spending with their stupidity and we saw what the result was. We need fewer people in government, but with more intelligence. Also the ministry of labor should inform all the unemployed that there is work in agriculture and whoever does not want to work will not receive any more benefits.
3. Plenty of ultra orthadox who dont work
Avi ,   Israel   (11.23.10)
They could fill the vacancies Oh sorry i forgot they are to holly to work for a living and Eli Yishai is on a campaign to deport as many foreign workers as he can.
4. that's right!
dan ,   USA   (11.23.10)
Get the haredim to do some work. Moshe was a shepherd for 40 years, producing food is obviously a holy mitzvah.
5. I want to work on a farm
Johan Sebastian ,   Holon, Israel   (11.23.10)
I am sure many young Israelis like me are ready to work on a farm. Where can I get info to apply for a job? Is there a quota for jews in ths industry? Please answer me on this talkback. Thanks
6. Where's the Butter?
roxie ,   israel   (11.24.10)
For over 3 wees now there has not been any Israeli brands of butter on store shelves in the Haifa area. The only butter available is the imported butters that cost over twice as much, which many of us can't afford. Get your act together and give us butter that is affordable, !
7. YOUTH MUST WORK !
HINDU ,   USA   (11.26.10)
Many young Israelis after their army service waste years traveling in India and elsewhere. Why can they not instead work on the farms and fields??? Also the very religious people who are exempt from military service- why can they not work the land? What a great religious and spiritual experience that would be for them!
