These terrible crimes against children are disgusting to all normal readers. INCLUDING all Haredim and people of other religions besides Judaism. The death penalty would be too quick for these people but might deter others for doing this (but they must NEVER be allowed out of jail (solitary confinement) until they die!!!

I am disgusted, sickened and sadened all at the same time!! All I have been thinking about (as a newcomer to Israel) is how perhaps the reason I have not (until now)heard about such extreme child abuse cases in Israel compared to the USA is perhaps because Israelis still have families.....children here have relationships with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and so on. My question is where was the father? the other family members? There is no way that children can endure such a nightmare and not demonstrate physical/emotional/mental signs and signals that something happened to them! That mother mentioned in the article who was sentenced to 5 years! What a disgrace! What an easy and lenient sentence she got - the community should be outraged by this incident - all these people involved should have THE EXACT SAME TORTURE DONE TO THEM AS THEY DID TO THOSE POOR HELPLESS INNOCENT CHILDREN!!

Good question where was the father?? Never saw him at any time during this marriage caring for a kid, diapering a baby, doing anything domestic, or even ever having a job to support his family of 8 kids. No, he claimed that was all the "women's department" and kept his wife barefoot and pregnant and over ten years completely isolated her from her family -- who he claimed were not "religious/kosher enough." (But he sure thought their money to support him was kosher enough.) And so, he forbade his wife and kids have any contact with their maternal family (no attending family bar mitzvas or brissim) because he claimed those relatives would spiritually damage the children's souls - because the cousins play with barbie dolls!!! etc. So where was the father when all of this was happening, when he knew Chen was abusive and he had the power in his hands to stop it? He turned his back and didn't tell a soul. Where was he when he sent his son to live with that monster Chen? Or when Chen drove him away by force? Why didn't he tell anyone? Not his own parents, sisters, or his in-laws. Why doesn't he take any responsibility for the part he played in all of this? Bringing those low-lifes into his home to begin with? The fact of the matter is that the father was the closest disciple of monster Chen and he spent the most time of all with this Chen monster, and the father of the kids probably agreed with Chen. Had Chen not taken it so far to get rid of him (and allegedly plot murder to get the father out of the picture so he could inherit the entire estate) the father would still be following him. The father is a hypocrite who hides behind "chassidus" to control others. Nebech to the poor widow with 5 kids who recently married him!
