Only if your Thomas set is in porcelan, you can use it. Your granddaughter aged 5 could have explained you. My advice was for a set that has never been getoivelt. When we lived in Herzliah,we paid an Israeli to toivel our service into the sea,He looked at us, as if we came from another planete, and asked if it had to stay in the sea. I think this law is only for services made abroad.Your friends, the ones you invite to your gourmet dinner would help you, i think, with pleasure. Bonne amusement.
32. 31 . Ora . your knowledge ?????

Listen . I asked you if my Thomas set [ used as treif ] can be kasherised [ i told you that it was not USWED for years ! so not new ] . Only ultra orthodox 'toivel" new ustensiles abroad . Here not i have heard . I also heard that porcelan can't be kasherised , but also the contrary . There is no problem with glass . Not even a need to kasherise it . Don't you know this ? this is "alef beth" , as yopu may use glass for meat and dfairy without any problem .

I do not rely on my knowledge.A friend asked first a Bet Din from very frum people, and the answer was not positive,so i asked an orthodoxe Rabbi from a less frum society, and i repeated you what he said. It is not wise to ask a Rabbi shales, and not follow them. From were did you get your "alef bet"from the kindergarden? Next time, please, don t ask me shales.I took it seriously, and you do a mockery of it. Very deceiving. I wonder from where you take your information. Here new ustensiles from abroad s fabrication are YES getoivelt. The same as a pregnant woman can not be only a bit pregnant ,a kitchen is kosher or not kosher.
34. Ora , i was serious when i asked it
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (12.20.10)
but it was about a USED . Serious because i would like to use this beautyfull set that is still in the boxes [ with an inscrip[tion "non Kasher" ] i brought them here when i made alyah . As far as i know ONLY ultra orthodox "toivel" their ustensiles . "Normal" Shomre Shabbat people don't do it . My granddaughtyer knows that she may drink milk from a glass at breakfast and then water by the meat meral in the same glass .

I am happy to see that you mean it seriously.I think that the normal Shomre Shabat don t do it because they don t know they have to do it.. When your granddaughter will ask you to do it,you will not be able to refuse her.Give her a big kiss, and tell her it is from ORA from Jerusalem.Keep well ,happy PEPE.
