4. America’s latest bribe to Israel – Daoud Kuttab:
Norway   (11.27.10)
The secret talks between US and Israeli officials, aiming at convincing the Israelis to change their position regarding the settlement freeze, started to smell more and more like a bribe, with some media reports calling it the $3 billion bribe (Maan News, 25/11/2010 ). US asks Israel for 90-day settlement building moratorium: Should Israel accept the 90-day settlement building moratorium, the US in turn has pledged in the next year to veto any efforts by the UN Security Council to impose on Israel a non-negotiated solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict, as the Palestinians have requested. It would further veto any resolutions that deny Israel the right to self-defense or seek to de-legitimize Israel. The US would also oppose such efforts in other UN bodies and forums (JPost, 11/14/2010). Palestinians Waiting for U.S. Guarantees, Aid Package : After Israel received a list of promises from the U.S. in exchange for agreeing to an additional settlement construction freeze, Palestinian sources said Monday their leadership was awaiting guarantees and an aid package from Washington as well. Palestinian sources told al-Quds al-Arabi that the commitments would be given in exchange for a Palestinian agreement to renew direct peace talks with Israel (Ynet News, 11.15.10). Abbas: Don't Connect US Aid to Israel with Building Freeze: Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas is warning that peace negotiations with Israel should not be confused with the issue of U.S. foreign aid to the Jewish State. “The United States is an ally of Israel, and we cannot prevent that. But let their aid be carried out far removed from the… peace negotiations and not be used as a pretext for giving more weaponry to Israel,” he added. The United States has been trying to find a way to persuade Abbas to return to the negotiating table... (INN, 11/21/10). 5. Mashaal from his rathole in Syria......
Nora Tel Aviv   (11.27.10)
...... gives orders to fight and die in a struggle against the "Zionist entity". He knows that if he ever leaves Syria, he is a dead rat.
6. Resistance is futile...
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (11.27.10)
"We are the Zionists. Lower your weapons and surrender your armies. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to western civilization. Your culture will adapt to freedom and liberty. Resistance is futile."
7. Mashaal
Hal ,   Usa   (11.27.10)
Mashaal is like many of his illustrious fellow gangsters. He is in Syria telling people to die for him and the rest of the dwarfs that constitute the Palestinian leadership. He will never step foot in the land again. Mashaal will die in captivity in Syria. The other dwarfs will die in Gaza as well. Never has a people been so fake-out by their own leaders as these Arabs of dubious origin.
8. 1
zionist forever   (11.27.10)
Hamas love Obama They call him Abu Hussain and have posters of him up in Gaza and think he is a great guy because of his hatred of Israel. It's got to be the first time Hamas put up posters of a US president in admiration for him usually they would just burn his picture along with the US & Israeli flags. Abbas, Mashaal, Abu Hussain Obama they are all enemies and non of them are to be trusted.

emanon ,   U   (11.27.10)
Like the mythical arab state Mashall allegedly represents? Or like the Kotel is not of Jewish Origin? Or that the arabs want peace with Israel (or anyone for that matter)?
11. "Failed attempts to reconcile...
Norway   (11.27.10)
between the Palestinian factions...?" Senior PA official Mohammed Dahlan stressed that Fatah adamantly refuses to recognize Israel, and that even the Palestinian Authority’s recognition is only for the sake of receiving foreign aid: "…the Fatah movement does not recognize Israel, even today... [such recognition is] required of the government but not of the Fatah, so that this government will be able to offer the necessary assistance, to carry out the necessary reconstruction, to offer assistance to the sick, to bring relief to needy families... This can be dealt with [only] by a government that has relations with the international community, one that is acceptable to the international community, in order that we can work together and benefit from the international community." (Fatah Official: “Our Goal is Not Peace, but Rather Palestine”, 07/13/09, INN). Fatah: No Recognition of Israel – Ever: "Fatah controls the PA in Judea and Samaria, and is the party of Abbas. Unlike the rival breakaway PA led by Hamas in Gaza, the Fatah-led PA has agreed to recognize Israel, although it will not recognize Israel as a Jewish state. The PA recognizes Israel because if it did not, it would not be able to “serve the Palestinian people,” Natsheh explained. However, Fatah does not have such constraints. Not only will Fatah never recognize Israel, but it will never end its call for armed struggle against Israel, he said. “Let those who are deluding themselves hear: this will never happen,” he said. A second senior Fatah member, Azzam el-Ahmed, agreed that Fatah would not drop its call to wage war on Israel." (INN, 07/23/09). Fayyad asks donors to channel Gaza aid through him: Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad is asking donor countries to channel hundreds of millions in expected aid for Gaza "first and foremost" through his government (Ynet News, 02.26.09). Israeli General Lays Out Plan for Reviving Gaza: IDF Maj.-Gen. Eitan Dangot, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, said Israel seeks to work with Hamas' rival, the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority of Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, to help revive the economy. Fayyad would set priorities for what Gaza needs and place his people at the borders, Dangot explained.(AP, 28.10.10). Don't be fooled. Reconciliation between Hamas and PA/Fatah is a direct threat to their strategy.

14. How much longer has Mashaal, who feeds
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (11.28.10)
off the blood of his people while residing comfortably in Syria, going to live? I would have thought that someone, somewhere, would have assassinated him by now.
15. Meshaal's call for "resistance"
Green Baron ,   Bethesda, MD USA   (11.28.10)
OK, Khaled, big guy--you are calling for "resistance'; I presume this means so-called martyrdom operations. You are preaching from your safe house in Damascus. Have you the guts and, yes, b**ls to come into "Palestine" and organize and lead an operation in person, and maybe (hopefully) stop a well-placed IDF bullet? My guess is you don't; you are chicken! Enjoy your hummus, and let others die for you while you squirrel away money in secret bank accounts!
16. arabs are threatened with extinction if they attack Israel
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.28.10)
again. It would certainly be Israel's right to transfer all arabs in gaza and WB to Jordan. Only in strength can Israel have peace.
17. Mashaal
Simcha ,   So.Ca.USA   (11.28.10)
Mashaal and Nasrallah are two of a kind. They hide in their hidey holes and call for the people to "resist". They really do not contribute to the daily existance of the Pals, but are always inciting them to violence. Do they really care about the people? I don't think so,they are only interested in POWER. I think the Pal. people, generally just want to live, have a job.a home and family. If it was left up to the peope to decide I think we could sort it out. But the world adds POLITICS which seems to only inhibit the way foreward.

Gosh, your response was better then the article. Thanks for the cites from which you drew your information.
19. FIghting for a Faux History...???
Whack World ,   US-Israel   (11.28.10)
How a small group of arabs could be so psychotic to actually create a false history and fight so hard for it could only be fueled by blind hatred, love of blood and violence or pure pscychosis. The so called 'palestinians' are NOT a true people; they are arabs, egyptian and other tribe members from the arabian peninsula or north africa. It just seems so absurd that the worlds populace actually came to believe in something that has NO historical proof of existence, no through-line of history, no culture or evidence of existence on a land the world KNOWS is enshrined in Jewish History, culture and religion. Its about time the world was educated on the facts. Insane haters and terrorists like hariri need to be seen for what they are: liars and theives looking to expell the Jews who've LEGALLY held their right to the land for over 3,000 years. Hell, arabic wasn't even a written language for a thousand years of Jewish Monarchy on the land. Enough of the this stupid palestinian nonsense: they don't have any right to anything but Saudi Arabia and what the UN gave them: Jordan and Syria. They should be forced from Lebanon before they take over and given citizenship in a divided Jordan (because their is no way the pals will ever be happy under the tribe currently ruling Jordan. Its not Israels problem anymore (actually, never was). Kick them out and there won't be anymore problems. Facts are facts: there is no 'palestinian' people: there never was and never will be.
20. "Resistance must be launched"
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (11.28.10)
To quote Marshaal, and must be brutally crushed by Israel. If they start it Israel needs to respond with overwhelming force and not worry about the typical world response of "disproportional force". Since that we happen anyway no matter the Israeli response it must be ignored. The way to peace with the Arabs is making them pay a price so horrific that they come to the table. Sadly it's the only language they understand. The reason this conflict has gone on so long is easy. Israel has held back, and shown the most remarkable restraint. A restraint that would never have been shown to the Israeli's if the positions were reversed in a military sense.
21. #1 why you think he should care
palestine dove ,   afula   (11.28.10)

23. to #21 what peace plans? the jerusalem
ghostq   (11.28.10)
status was to discuss latter in negotiation, and freez setelment didn't improve Israel security, we all saw how USA responded in SK, here is all the same, by the time USA can even responde to anything Israel can be heavily bombarded, so in other words, Nobama didn't managed to give any security safty to Israel he just proven that in the zero hour he will back up or not respond. as for the bribe, you cab't brib someone who is literaly under threat, that side shouldn't be bribed in the first place, it's like blaming someone for being robed. sad but true, I think Israel should be much beter than the bear hug USA trys to give her.
24. to #22 they snifered a baby in its cribe 6
ghostq   (11.28.10)
months ago in Hebron, and Hebron is not a setelment, they murder in intention of murdering. they will not miss a chance of doing so.
25. Arabs twist concepts "inalienable rights"
Leah ,   Yerushalayim, Yisrae   (11.28.10)
"inalienable rights threatened by extinction" This may be why the Arabs are brilliant at p.r. They take concepts that are understood in the West and have a strong emotional appeal and apply them to their "cause". Just what are the "inalienable rights" of the "Palestinians"?
26. Hamas Slogan says it all...
Yitz ,   Israel   (11.28.10)
that they love death as much as the Jews love life. And these animals think they deserve another state? Not in a civilized world.
