i remember reading that at the time. what kind of leaker leaks information that is already publicly known?

It´s the confirmatory confession that USA is a dishonest broker for peace talks.

I was expecting something unexpected, a lot more interesting, even exciting. So far I'm majorly bored. Even reality shows, scrouge of the new millenium, are more exciting. If Wikileaks were TV, I'd be flipping channels like crazy.

and if it ever wishes to rejoin the rest of humanity, it must do so based on the application of UN Security Council Resolution 242, AS IS, and become once again part of Egypt. Any attempt to change this reality is akin to attempting to dry up the sea!

Once Hamas is cleaned out, it's back to being your (Egypt's) problem again, the way it was in 1967 and still should be. After all, they were Egyptian before 1967 and so shall they return.

Isn't that interesting? Both Fatah and Egypt refused to take Gaza. Could it be that they know Gaza belongs to Israel, deep down inside?

Israel must make some hard choices soon, with all options bad. A stronger PA is needed to bring Hamas under control but that is also dangerous. A stronger Christian Lebanon is needed to control Hizbollah but that also could be dangerous. A peace deal is the best solution for Palestinian problem but if they latter turn against Israel then its the worst option. The problem with status quo is that it will lead to more war and the destruction of Israel, along with much of the ME, with Africa, India and China moving it to take control.

So, in effect, Israel tried to avoid hard street fighting & casualties in a true ground victory over Hamas by trying to enlist Egypt & the PA to do it for them? Definitely has a "pimp" quality & aspect to it all.

That's the truth even though PRC lets an occasional rocket off. We see the panic in Hamas when they rush to stop the rocket attacks by PRC or IJ instead of condoning or funding them. Hamas also just graced us with the knowledge that Israel was 100% correct in their assessment of the casualties of Cast Lead - over 900 killed were Hamas men....that means less than 36% were civilians - remarkable in a tight urban setting, with terrorists using human shields and booby trapping homes with IEDs. But that's ok, Egyptians still consider the massive ass-kicking in 1973 by Israel as an "Arab victory". Nicely done.
