1. Oy! Norwegians have no choice but to boycott!
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.01.10)
Raichel was in the IDF. He might still be doing annual reserve duty. He has performed in Judea and Samaria. He is from the zionist imperialist occupation settlement of Kfar Saba. How will the Norwegians be able to face themselves when they discover a zionist on the stage?!?!?
2. It's your fault, Brian!
JB ,   SoCal, USA   (12.02.10)
Reading your "Oy!" comments, I laughed and accidentally sprayed the keyboard with Diet Coke -- see what you made me do! Seriously, can you recommend a song or two, or an album by him for me to check out? That would be much appreciated. And best regards from a friend in a far distant land who to this day still mourns over the passing of the beautiful Ofra Haza . . .
3. To #2

Try You-tubing Idan Raichel Project and you'll find a wide range of songs from his ongoing albums. It'll give you a good taste of the genius of this young musician. Enjoy.
4. Welcome to Norway Idan
Christian ,   Norway   (12.02.10)
Im happy to learn that you are going to perform in Norway. I'm a big fan of you! Your music is really impressive even i don't understand all your lyrics. I actually buyed a CD of you in Israel and have got another one from a friend. Really hope you could come here and perform a complete concert someday! :) Good luck with the nobe prize concert, and the future in general! :)
5. Recommendation to #2

Idan Raichel produces afusion of music from across the globe, but the heartbeat is the mix of African, Arabian and Israeli folk/pop. I strongly believe that blending musical cultures sets a strong challenge to the opponents of peace. He's also superb live. I just witnessed seeing he and his band in London. Check out the live video of MiMamakim on YouTube. It's awesome
