Tell me what YOU would do to alleviate the conditions of Aborigines who CHOOSE to live as they do. Many Aboriginals, probably more than 90% are more than happy to receive their free housing and money for their food and liquor. Housing that invariably is destroyed by a people who prefer to use material from these free houses to build bonfires in their back yards. You may or may not know that at one time Aboriginal children were taken from their parents to be brought up by better off white families but that is inhumane and it no longer happens. However, many of those children have led very successful lives as lawyers, sportsmen or other professionals. Australia places no hurdles against Aborigines bettering themselves as many of them have done, such as being members of Australia's parliament. A lesson to be learned here is that not everything put together by the UN is correct, a factor with which you would probably agree considering how many UN resolutions that Israel has flouted. Also, don't believe everything you read on the internet. If you feel so strongly about the conditions of aboriginals why don't YOU come here and learn the truth, it would open your eyes. I'd like to know what more YOU would suggest than has and is being done to better their lot.
