1. What would Putin do in this situation?
Christopher ,   Philadelphia, USA   (12.01.10)
Irrespective that the "revelations" have actually been mostly beneficial to Israel, it would be a grave mistake to embrace this organization that is unaccountable to anybody. Today, it's stealing information from the US. Tomorrow, the target will be another nation, with unpredictable results. This is a loose cannon that nobody can control. It is interesting that rather than exploit these leaks, China has told the US to get the situation under control, presumably because China is mature enough to know that it too could be the next victim and wants no part in this global anarchy. Ultimately, national security hinders on discipline of the armed forces and the ability to keep closely guarded secrets. Compromising these will have grave consequences for any nation's ability to defend itself. Israel has far too much to lose to an uncontrollable entity like Wikileaks. The answer to Western governments is to infiltrate, subvert and destroy Wikileaks before it harms all of us.
2. Lock up Assange & Manning for life, release Pollard.
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (12.01.10)
These two saboteurs have caused at least a thousand-fold more damage to the US than Pollard, who has long since paid his debt to society and is still in jail only for spite.
3. Hiding in israel? nothing at all about AIPAC ???
Jazz   (12.01.10)
4. After years and years and years he is wanted 4 rape LOL
Alan ,   SA   (12.01.10)
5. this guy is a hero
ghs   (12.01.10)
and conveniently charged with "rape" by the authorities. interestingly the charges were dropped in sweden due to a lack of evidence, but this minor issue doesnt seem to bother interpol.
6. #3 This has nothing to do with Israel or AIPAC, dummy
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (12.01.10)
You will not be able to drag us into this scandal.
7. #2 Charge Anat Kam for espionage & lock her up for life too.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (12.01.10)
Both she and Uri Blau should be in jail.
8. #7 agreed #2 Y release Pollard? Spies stay in Jail!
(12.01.10)
9. Is sweden Willing To Put
Brazen   (12.01.10)
a bounty on his head? Or how about plane flights and the tools nessasary to bring him to justice?
10. #8 spies stay in jail for as long as they were sentenced.
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (12.01.10)
Pollard was sentenced for 2-4 years, but the Justice Department brutally intervened and pressured the court to change it to life, without any evidence to justify this. Hardly "Due Process By Law". This is while spies who caused more severe damage to the US walked off after serving a mere few years. You'd have to do much better than to use an empty slogan to prove your point.
11. Hidden info: Manning is a homosexual activist
Avi ,   Geneva   (12.01.10)
"What the media leaves out: Army staffer who leaked thousands of documents to WikiLeaks website is homosexual activist -- angry at ban on gays in military." (Massresistance) It is shocking that almost no media have reported this significant detail concerning the motive at the source of the latest Wikileaks revelations. Such filtering of relevant information shows that journalists do not respect their readers, auditors or viewers.
12. I'd hide him in my apartment, no sex & cook your own meals.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (12.01.10)
13. Shouldn't Assange practice what he preaches?
William ,   Israel   (12.01.10)
Assange travels the globe, justifying his leaking of stolen documents on some ideological basis that "govts only conspire to create injustice", and "if govts have nothing to fear regarding their actions, they shouldn't fear the release of these documents" Ok. So please Assange, follow your own advice. You claim innocence in the rape charges but hide like Saddam and Nasrallah do, in a hole. If you are truly innocent as you say, give yourself up to Interpol because you shouldn't fear anything.
14. #4 - many women fail to bring charges immediately
William ,   Israel   (12.01.10)
rape is pretty traumatic and many women, according to psychologists and sociologists, either subconsciously suppress the incident entirely or only bring themselves to act on it later down the road.
15. #5 - re-join the timeline, putz!
William ,   Israel   (12.01.10)
Sweden re-opened the case several weeks ago. Once Assange skipped the country, Sweden asked Interpol for help. Get with the program. It's public knowledge...although you won't see it re-printed on WikiLeaks which is apparently the only source of "info" you visit.
