1. Is this just an "after the fact" claim?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (12.01.10)
The cable claiming Pakistan passed a warning is dated October of 2009, while the attack took place in November of 2008. Show us a "before the fact" cable telling us exactly what intel was passed and we'll take this claim more seriously. Let's also never forget that this was an ISI supported attack.
2. Lets hear it from Assang
walldizo ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (12.01.10)
Lets see if Assang will verify this piece of intel.
3. #2 why so he can be overthrown?
Omri ,   Israel   (12.01.10)
You sound like you support that attack, a shame if you do. How will you feel when some neo-Nazi group will murder 20 Lebanese in Europe?
4. right wing jews debunked!
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (12.01.10)
What happened to right wing jew's claim of muslims wanting to destroy Israel..? The fact is other than Iran muslim countries are collborating with Israel.. even when it comes to bombing Iran...
5. to #4 So you think all the times muslim
jason white ,   afula,israel   (12.01.10)
countries attacked Israel, sent terrorists to kill us and fire rockets and mortars into Israel. They are not trying to destroy us? Maybe someday we will do the same to you in natzereth for your own good. We will not be killing you by killing you.
6. #4 Right wingers don't say that
Omri ,   Israel   (12.01.10)
OFC not ALL muslims want to destroy Israel I mean common ofc there is SOMEONE muslim supportive of Israel. The media already stated a few lately if you still think people this that. Anyway the fact the afghany government works with Israel to some level doesn't mean the afghan public opinion isn't a sharp anti Israel opinion. And btw they are still FAR from being 'friends' with Israel.
7. To Rami and Jason
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (12.01.10)
Rami, you are being simplistic. The fact that the leadership in some Muslim countries cooperated with Israel, does not negate the fact that the vast majority of the population there is subjected to scathing incitement against Israel and wants us destroyed. This is the breeding grounds to all of the potential terrorists, clearly there is no shortage of them. Furthermore, look at Hamas and Hizbullah. Why are they shooting at us? Only because we occupy the West Bank? Or "the whole of Palestine"? Heck, look at Egypt, with whom we have peace. What good is this peace, when the media there constantly demonizes and incites against us, in the same fashion neo-nazi newspapers did back in the 1930s? When do you suppose would all the professional guilds there would finally stop boycotting us? And when would we finally have a friendly football match between us and Egypt? Remember, this is a country we're at peace with! Jason, while I agree with the first part of what you said, I think the second part is uncalled for. Rami voiced a legitimate opinion, his post was not overly aggressive to justify this kind of talk from you.
8. #4 - You do read Arabic, right Rami?
William ,   Israel   (12.02.10)
You can turn to any Arab newspaper, opinion page, or poll results, and see a majority of hatred against Jews and Israel. Just on this site, you can see Arab posters who insist that Arabs are not against Iran but actually support them in getting a bomb and targeting Israel. We can see the claim that Muslims want to destroy Israel just from the Israeli Arabs' actions here in the State, during protests, and in the Knesset. Tibi, Zoabi, Saleh, etc. all make it very clear what their goals are...and it isn't singing Kumbaya with their fellow Jewish citizens. Just because Arab govts are working with Israel doesn't mean the populace doesn't want to wipe it off the map. It's a case of Arab leaders knowing their own necks are on the line and their power is worth more than an ideological destruction of the Jews.
