5. This tragedy could have been avoided if the bus had
Rivkah   (12.03.10)
been painted with NO BURN paint under the automotive layer of paint and with NO BURN fabric protector on the inside. Years ago, a young Tucson policeman was in an accident and could not get out of his patrol car and screamed for people not to let him burn. No one could break the windows that were bulletproof. But the car itself would not have burned if a little forethought had gone into the purchase and the motor company had painted the car wtih NO BURN like some mobile home manufacturers do before the automotive topcoast is sprayed on. That means extra sanding since the NO BURN coat needs to be lightly sanded for the automotive paint to stick to it. Then the occupants have a better chance of survival. With Planet X (NASA calls it Orcus and others call it Nibiru) on its 3600 year eliptical orbit causing volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsnamis, and fires and hail storms as it approaches the earth which will likely be in 2012, everything that can burn will burn and people had best get prepared for surviving. The US government has vast amounts of construction materials underground to rebuild areas after an atomic war or after the destruction of Orcus, Planet X, Nibiru in its passing. This is a wake-up call, this terrible fire and loss of life. It is a wake up call to get ready for this and find ways to prevent the loss of life and property.

9. These cadets were on their way to save Palestinians
Miriam ,   Israel   (12.03.10)
They were on their way to evacuate Palestinian and Arab prisoners (murderers, rapists, honor killers, thieves etc). That's a horrible horrible tragedy !!!

May G-d comfort the mourners. I saw a list of some of the names. It should be noted that some of them appear not to be Jewish, but Arab or Druze. ( which makes sense since Druze serve in the IDF) Rivkah-unless you are ready to present credentials as an expert in fire prevention why don't you be quiet Your words are painful to those who lost family, friends, co-workers or neighbors.( and even if you did have credentials, which I highly doubt--now is NOT the time)
12. 8 Chai: When people are reading the posts that can make
Rivkah   (12.04.10)
a difference in the future, that is the time to write suggestions on how to prevent such tragedies, not when no one is reading about a story anymore.
13. Burn Paint? No such thing
Dave ,   Boulder, Colorado US   (12.19.11)
There is no such paint. This is some sort of gimmick. Look at the charmed remains of that bus. There is no paint in the world that would have prevented that bus from burning. Israel doesn't need gimmicks but better wildland fire fighting training, tactics, and equipment. I say this as a certified Type 2 wildland fire fighter who has been following this tragedy closely. I hope this fire is a wake-up call to government, fire service, and KKL to address these issues seriously.
