1. Why The Pals won't talk is on them
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (12.04.10)
The fact is a peace deal will settle the building issue. So the Arabs reluctance to talk without a freeze in place makes no sense and is self defeating. That is to say normal for the Arabs. They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity as the saying goes. The Arab economy grew 8% with "foreign assistance", that means the EU giving money to the Arabs. While the Israeli economy grew 4% based on exports. That means Israeli's producing things people around the world need and sending it out of the country. The fact is the Arabs should be running to the peace table, instead of looking for reasons not to talk. As I said earlier all issues will be resolved by peace, not war. The Arabs have always held the peace card. It never has been up to Israel, only the Arabs can decide to make peace. Maybe it's time to stop playing the victim, stop the PR games, stop worrying about how to vilify Israel in the press. Maybe it's time to sit down and talk peace with Israel, enough with excuses.
