1. LOL!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.05.10)
"The statement accused Israel of violating the terms of Security Council Resolution 1701 that ended the 2006 war between Israel and the Shiite terror group Hezbollah." Really? And allowing Hezbollah to re-arm is not a violation of Resolution 1701? Lebanon doesn't pass the laugh test.
2. Lebanon must hand over murderer of IDF officer
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.05.10)
On August 3, 2010, a Lebanese army sniper opened fire on Israeli soldiers on the Israeli side of the border, killing an IDF officer. A UN investigation shows that this was an unprovoked attack by Lebanon, and that the IDF was always on the Lebanese side of the border. Lebanese leaders could only make cheap excuses, but the facts are that Lebanon clearly violated UN 1701. A reminder that UN resolution 1701 was a resolution of the 2006 war that was started by Lebanon. Lebanon has yet to arrest the murderer or hand him over to UN or Israeli authorities. Despite their whining, Lebanon remains a repeated aggressor against Israel. Lebanon should be more concerned with the very high number of Iranian and Syrian spies and saboteurs on its soil.
3. How about some sort of proof?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.05.10)
Have they a single piece of proof that we had anything at all to do with it or are they attempting to emulate the police chief of Dubai and just make claims? Bet the later over the former. Sounds a lot like a 'work accident' to me and they are just blaming us for another one of their violations.
4. While at it can the Arab and Muslim controlled UN see Hizbul
Jae ,   Lynn US   (12.05.10)
Hizbullahs build up of arms to 10x the level they were in 2006 war they initiated by invading our territory? Why didnt Lebanon bring that to the Arab League, er, I mean UN. Same thing.
5. When will hez-bull-ah send back to iran the 1000s of
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (12.05.10)
missiles? There will be a war and I hope Israel has the determination to take these people out for good.
6. WHO CARES WHAT THEY THINK
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (12.05.10)
Maybe it was a device to spy on them, maybe they blew themselves up trying to plant IED's. Either way what does it matter? If I were Israel I would be working every way I could to get as much info on Lebanon and Hezbollah. Trying to stay one step ahead of your enemy is what all countries do. During the cold war between the U.S. and Russia, you better believe both countries spied on each other. Do you think they broke some laws in the process? It's part of the game. If you go to the CIA headquarters there are stars on the wall that signify American spies who died doing their duty. You can't know their names, we call them heroes. My point is this Hezbollah is on the record, they have a simple goal, to destroy Israel. Israel has a simple goal, to stop Hezbollah from achieving their goal. The rest is just a side show to distract the world from the fact Hezbollah and Nasrallah murdered Hariri Sr., they had him assassinated. Let the U.N. just worry about that, how does that sound? What UN Resolution does that violate?
7. You want proof?
zionisshit ,   bint jbeil   (12.05.10)
It's mot necessary. We just want to blame you for stuff. It could all be lies. It doesn't matter. We're starting to win the PR campaign.
8. Tell them to go...
William ,   Gotham City, Lebanon   (12.05.10)
... sit on their telephone polls and rotate... the govt was not allowed to remove the illegal phone system installed by Hizbollah in 2008... Ali baba and his outlaws took over Beirut because of this mess and killed over a hundred people while the army stood on the sidelines...
9. The IDF colonel was killed by Hizbollah...
William ,   Gotham City, Lebanon   (12.05.10)
... The Lebanese army took the blame and suffered two casualties as usual... The civilians in the area paid a price too but what can they do against these ruthless outlaws...
