I was in shock watching the TV news anounce that Anne Pollard was brought to Israel. This is her second "aliya". The government has set her up in a hotel! How many immigrants get to stay in a hotel when they arrive? I remember hearing about her meeting the 6th fleet when they docked in Haifa.! Maybe she should have asked them for accomodations?

It is shocking and a miscarriage of justice for Jonathan Pollard's plea bargain to be violated by the US government instead of honored. But the greater betrayal is his wife divorcing him. My sister's former neighbor named Majid was in an Iranian prison for eight years, falsely accused of being an American spy after his wife visited relatives in Norway and America. She was tortured and lost the baby she was carrying and left Iran with her two children and brother while Majid was in prison being tortured and hung from his arms until they were dislocated from the sockets, for example. She never divorced her husband even there was no hope of his release even though his brother was working to get him released for eight years until that happened by a miracle of God. Jonathan Pollard has not been treated that badly and his wife divorced him. If he had been a free man, would she have divorced him? I don't know. But to abandon someone who has no one else is what is heartless. She is the heartless one, not I. So I disagree with your post.

Most illegals do not pay payroll taxes but use our hospitals, schools, roads, airports, and social welfare services. The Pollards paid their taxes yet they will not enjoy many of the privileges afforded to US citizens. You do not live in the US therefore do not tell us how to spend our taxes.
