1. CORRECTION TO YNET
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (12.07.10)
What is this obsession with Bibi calling him right-wing , he is the same chip of the old block as most of you Israelis, being spoon fed your version of what it is to be a "Zionist"and lacks pride and strenght. He is a sell out like your publication , with the same old mantra's and failed policies that brings you nothing but war, while you use the word peace not giving it any meaning. So how many more wars do you want in order to give up on your failed Zionism ? It does not matter who is the PM they all come from the same school of indoctrination singing to the same tune. Peace will not come in the way that you pursue it that is for sure.
2. 'Palestine within borders defined in 1967.'
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (12.07.10)
By Argentina's definition there will never be a Palestine. As the 'borders defined in 1967' are the current borders between Israel and Jordan or Israel and Egypt, which do not leave even a millimeter for a country called Palestine. They probably meant the lines prior to June 1967, but this declaration gives everything captured back to Israel - including Gaza, the Sinai, and the Golan.
3. My friends think I should be Queen of the World
Talula ,   Israel   (12.07.10)
not going to help me though. They can think/say what they want - the fact is, the problem is between the Palestinans and us - if no form of peace agreement can be signed - then there won't be a state - regardless of who says what and why. They are not faced with continual rocket fire, we are.
4. Aren't These Countries Nazi Safe Havens
emanon ,   USA   (12.07.10)
Didn't many Nazis escape to these countries after their downfall? You think there's a connection maybe?
5. The Lausanne initiative
Raphael ,   Netanya   (12.07.10)
June 2004, aself styled "conference" initiated by staunch antisemites and holocaust deniers suggested the idea of a one binational state, on the basis of Arafat's "democratic Palestine for all". Any outsiders poking their nose in our conflict are willful wrongdoers.
6. Sad
Dave ,   Bs.Aires-Argentina   (12.07.10)
Today is a sad day for us, the Argentinian Citizens that support the State of Israel. We guess, perhaps, this is the influence of the Venezuelan President, H. Chavéz over the Argentina's Government. A great sad fact, is that the Argentinian Foreign Minister, H. Timmerman is of Jewish descent too. AM ISRAEL CHAI
7. Israel is garnering support elsewhere
Marcella   (12.07.10)
A senior delegation of 35 leading European parliamentarians toured Samaria (West Bank) Monday in support of the settlers. It included some who may head their countries's governments some day. The visitors were from what is known as the “New Right” in Europe. These are parties that support Israel, renounce anti-Semitism and see the Islamic takeover of Europe as a clear danger. Most of them were Christian. (Israel National News.) The visit coincides with that of Dutch Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders in Israel who came to Israel to speak at MK Aryeh Eldad's Conference "Jordan is Palestine". Those two separate visits were not covered by the mainstream Israeli media. Instead we got alarming headlines about Latin American leaders supporting Palestine. Islam, particularly Iran, is making great inroads in that part of the world by using money to influence leaders and their policies. Israel should annex Judea and Samaria and stop this PR-directed avalanche towards legitimation of a country that has never existed.
8. Harms Waht Mr. Ayalon ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Salma ,   Palestine   (12.07.10)
So funny I can't stop laughing : ))))))))) So you can tell jokes Mr. Ayalon . suddenly you remember " peace process", Ha!
9. teach them a lesson, Ayalon

10. Dear Danny... sometimes, miracles do
seadog1946 ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (12.07.10)
descend from the international community... witness the birth of Israel and Kosovo.
11. Our Foreign Minister
Shmuel ,   Jerusalem   (12.07.10)
When Lieberman was so terribly inappropriately given this position, even he recognized that he was not welcome in Europe, the USA and, of course, any Muslim country. So he came up with the idea that his emphasis (and travel, of course) would be devoted to South America and Russia. We can see how effective he and his incompetent sidekick Ayalon have been in this reduced effort. Such a horrible foreign minister and deputy!
12. Salma from fake Palestine
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (12.07.10)
ask yourself this... what are the chances for a home outside jordan or arabia. get out of my country!! my home ISRAEL!!! you arte a thug terrorist!
13. Palestine will never see the light of day..
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.07.10)

14. Salma could not stop laughing
JUDAH THE LION   (12.07.10)
Hey Salma, let the world keep talking for another one million year.In short, you Arabs will get NOTHING out of our historic land of Israel.
15. Pressure the 22 Arabs states to grant CITIZENSHIP to
Jae ,   Lynn US   (12.07.10)
the arabs in Judea and samaria who since 1970s have suddenly decided theiur identity is as palestinians, not merely arabs as they had identified as before. The "palestinians" need to be absorbed instead of hanging around as 3rd generation refugees in arab states! In 1948 650k "plaestinians" left Israel at the urging of arab states invading and bombing Israel. They were never absorbed in the 22 arab states, to this day. Whereas over 1 million Jews from arab countries who were given the boot by the arab governments were all settled by Israel. Its a swap. arabs with their 22 nations, israel with their 1 nation. If thats not good enough then look to Jordan as Palestine, which it is.
16. Danny Ayalon
sas ,   israel   (12.07.10)
ANOTHER SUPERSTAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go home.
17. Israel contradictin itself....
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (12.07.10)
Israeli government's formal position, and Israeli public as a whole, is the support of a two states solution. The declaration by Argentina an other countries is simply a decleration that is in the same spirit and does not harm the peace process a bit, in the contrary is supports it.
18. rcognition
Ezra ,   Florida   (12.07.10)
Now it is official: The countries that were so happy to host all those Nazi honchoes is collaborating with the palestinians against the JEWISH STATE wishes. They claimed that they never "knew" that the Eichmans and the Mengeles of the world were criss crossing their countries at will (and were never even tried for their crimes}, which they turned into branches of NAZI GERMAY. I guess now they will say that they have no first hand knowledge about the palestinians and they just wanted to be nice to some "god fosaken" terrorists that should be recognized internationally. It is definately a case of: ANTISEMITISM AT WORK.
19. Which of the two entities is Palestine?
Avraham ,   Jerusalem   (12.07.10)
FM porte-parol Palmor is right: Do Argentina, Brasil and Uruguay recognize Palestinian state in Gaza or in the West Bank (Judea & Samaria)? So where are borders of that imaginary state? If somone wants to compare it with Kosovo, he is absolutly wrong. Once the autonomous province of Serbia, Kosovo had its borders and ethnic unity (with outcome of its referendum). PA has no borders and as yet had not have the referendum to decide on unilateral declaration of indenpendence (with Gaza?). Nobody reasonable in the world could officialy recognize a non-existant state!!
20. ok so lets declare falklands...
Ivan ,   london   (12.07.10)
british territory. Israel have to deliver a clear message to Argentina to not get involved in this. Recognize falklands and the british right to search for oil...am sure the argentinians will not like this
21. Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay
NO SURPRISE ,   IL   (12.07.10)
Aren't these places renown for hiding Nazis??
22. to #8 peace means no violence until now
ghostq   (12.07.10)
palis never missed an oppertunity for violens, stoning cars rockets, trying to stab, puting bomb to cars and the list goes on. facts r facts.
23. This guy is hillarious - - what peace is he talking about?
Dave   (12.07.10)
He, his boss as well as the rest of his party keeps saying there is no chance for peace, what in gods name is he talking about? Give him a low bench and send him to Argentina.
24. Israel kept saying hurting or promoting needs BOTH SIDES
observer   (12.07.10)
What about the Palestinian side says nods do not hurt peace.
25. Is the Bible a historical text?
observer   (12.07.10)
Writing during the early half of the 19th century, the first modern Jewish historians, such as Isaak Markus Jost (1793-1860) and Leopold Zunz (1794-1886), did not think so. They regarded the Old Testament as a theological work reflecting the beliefs of Jewish religious communities after the destruction of the first temple. It was not until the second half of the century that Heinrich Graetz (1817-91) and others developed a “national” vision of the Bible and transformed Abraham’s journey to Canaan, the flight from Egypt and the united kingdom of David and Solomon into an authentic national past. By constant repetition, Zionist historians have subsequently turned these Biblical “truths” into the basis of national education. But during the 1980s an earthquake shook these founding myths. The discoveries made by the “new archaeology” discredited a great exodus in the 13th century BC. Moses could not have led the Hebrews out of Egypt into the Promised Land, for the good reason that the latter was Egyptian territory at the time. And there is no trace of either a slave revolt against the pharaonic empire or of a sudden conquest of Canaan by outsiders.
26. When the EU declares Palestine, where will you run?
Nour ,   Palestine   (12.07.10)
Will you also assert that Europe harbored Nazis? They are anti-semites, or that they have relaunched the inquisition? You people are pathetic. The wagon is leaving to the 21st century. Eretz Yisroel is as dead as a doornail. Watch out for more recognitions of Palestine in 2011, up til August when Palestine's independence will be declared.
27. Partnering with Evil. Aiding & Abbetting Global Jihad
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (12.07.10)
and the planned Second Holocaust of Jews. There Never was an Arab country of Palestine. Jerusalem was Never the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Jewish Bible, not once in the Koran. Deceitfully called the Arab/Israeli conflict, it's global jihad against Israel and the Free World. Conflict? It's a 1,400 year barbaric war waged against all non-Muslims. The Koran commands all nations and peoples are conquered and subjugated under excessively cruel Islamic sharia law where defenseless non-Muslims have no human rights. And that includes your nations, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Your anti-Jew, rabidly anti-human rights, anti-Free World declarations are recorded in heavenly books that will be opened one day.
28. #26 You can declare from now till the cows come home
Yossi G. ,   Jerusalem   (12.07.10)
The only "Palestine" you will ever know is on the other side of the Jordan.
29. Palestinians didn't leave at the urging of Arab states
observer   (12.07.10)
in the book "The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem", Benny Morris found that: out of 228 empty Palestinian villages, in 41 villages the inhabitants were expelled by the IDF; in another 90, residents fled because of attacks on other villages; and in six, they left under instructions from local Palestinian authorities. He was unable to find out why another 46 villages were abandoned. If true that Palestinians left on request of Arab armies, then the Palestinians would never have called it Arab Palestine.
30. Before 1948, Jews Were Known as the Palestinians
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (12.07.10)
The Jewish newspaper, the Jerusalem Post was called the Palestine Post. The Jewish-founded electric company was Palestine Electric. The Palestinian Symphony Orchestra was all Jewish. During World War II, the British army had a Palestinian Brigade made up entirely of Jewish volunteers. After Jews migrated to Palestine in significant numbers in the late 1800s and miraculously transformed desert and swamps into rich, agricultural land, Arabs came in large numbers from Arab countries for jobs from Jews. The fact that the overwhelming majority of Arabs resided only briefly in Palestine is attested to by a one-time special UN decree: that any Arab who had resided in Palestine for only two years before 1948, and then left, would be considered a refugee and so would his descendants! Throughout history, people were never regarded as refugees if they had resided in a country for only two years because they were clearly citizens of other countries!
