How can Israelis pretend to seek peace while continuing to build illegal settlements on the land that is supposed to make up the Palestinian State and changing the facts on the ground? It is ridiculous and NO ONE would accept that. Palestinians should have refused to negotiate 20 years ago the moment Israel began this devious process. Israel does this action because they DO NOT wish to have peace but only pretend to while they build and build. It is time for the UN to create the State of Palestine just like the UN created Israel in 1948--whether Israelis like it or not.

Has he lost his mind? Does he think that Mubarak does not know that the PA sat on its hands for ten months while a freeze was in effect? Does he think that the entire international community does not know this? So, which is it? Ego on steroids, or delusional fool? Frankly, I don't care either way. All I care about is the fact that Israel will continue to build in the settlements and in Jerusalem. Abbas has cut off his nose to spite his face. Or, he never had any intention of reaching an accommodation with Israel because he is not interested in a two-state solution (surprise, surprise).

The fact is once you sit down and talk, come to an agreement that will settle the building issue. So to use it as an excuse NOT to talk is as silly as it gets. As usual the Arabs have some nonsensical precondition before they want to sit down and talk. Same old, same old. Like I said earlier they prefer a PR victory that blames Israel for the failure of the talks. Rather than a country, most see through this childish approach.

Let every rational Jew take a moment to appreciate the incredible gifts of Judea and Samaria. Judea and Samaria give our tiny state viability. Judea and Samaria provides us with defensible borders. Without Judea and Samaria, our enemies could cut our Homeland in half with a mere three hour jaunt. Judea and Samaria are the reason rockets do not fall on Tel Aviv today. Judea and Samaria also protect us from a "peace deal" which would render Israel defenseless, with an 8 mile waist. Judea and Samaria great gifts that keep on giving.

Considering Israel has nothing to gain and everything to lose by talking to the P.A., why would we ever choose to do so? It would be like America choosing to talk to Al Quaeda. What does the P.A. offer us? Loss of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. An eight mile waist. Constant rockets and inundation by hostile Arabs. We have no reason to talk to the P.A. ever.

He uses it as a hammer for knocking the nails into his own political coffin. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
