The Islamic cultural custom to require women to obliterate themselves in public is NOT based on Jewish tradition, but on an interpretation of Koranic code to dress modestly in public. If you had ever been in the Middle East you would have noticed that Muslim men rarely wear short pants, or go about in public without a sleeved shirt in the torrid climate. In the West it is necessary that people should not conceal their identity (masking faces) for practical and sensible reasons. A primitive Islamic society operates differently, and should not force its habits on the West.
