1. I have rights too
ricardo Macher ,   karne Shomron IL   (12.10.10)
As a settler, i can just say that I am happy to see that I am represented in the march for human rights. Do you have an idea how difficult it is to live among the Arabs? Hostility, frustration, abuse. All my rights as a human being are challenged day by day. We live in fear, my children are stoned when they go to school, Palestinians do not want to mix with us, in pure discrimination. I am tired of this already. I want the integrity of my rights.
2. Does the govmnt give a hoot to retarded minority Leftists?
Eli   (12.10.10)
Why were they allowed out of the mental asylum?
3. Nothing says democracy like
Jew ,   Israel   (12.10.10)
waving signs and shouting "We don't want facts, we want our way!" So by all means "Don't investigate -resign!" you've made your point, you're out of your mind if your screaming in the name of democracy. I look forward to a Palestinian democracy. I do, no hint of irony or skepticism. But as it is Arab societies haven't achieved it and Israel protects all of it's citizens regardless of their race. Israeli Arabs who recently polled said they would never recognize a Jewish state are still given the same rights as their Jewish counterparts. Also, I question Ynet's use of the word refugee which is an actual status granted by the state (under UN guidelines) to establish who is legally being protected from persecution in their homeland and who is illegally entering the nation for economic reason, not human rights reasons. But I'm glad that Tel Aviv has now found an all encompassing rally to hash out all of its complaints against society.
4. #3 you are awesome
Golan ,   Modiin   (12.10.10)
5. Left: No Investigation as it might damage the Peace Process
Eli   (12.10.10)
The Left don't want them to investigate and reveal the truth that the fire was an act of terrorism by none other than their "Peace Loving" friends whom they want to share their state with (except for Tel Aviv of course). What a bunch of loonies these Leftists are. They're becoming more meshuge by the day.
6. What a caption! So fitting for YNET
M   (12.10.10)
The regular enemies of YNET, racists MKs and rabbis.
7. Well, live somewhere else
R ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (12.10.10)
If it is so difficult, just live in Israel rather in another people's land
8. Chazan, rabbis are not "civil servants"!
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim,   (12.10.10)
B"H If anything rabbis are or at least should be under the Torah. What a silly, statist degeneration, on G-d's holy Land of Israel of all places!
9. To the foolish impostor # 1
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (12.10.10)
Nobody may believe the nonsense you write, you are not only a fraud, you are also foolish. As per the "big manifestation", people who close ranks with arabs and anarchists fighting our children in Bilin and other places are despicable traitors. To the person who doesn't understand why foreigners are treated different I'll suggest him to go to the Mexican/USA border, Spanish/Moroccan border and many others, or Egyptian Sinai before opening his mouth, he will learn what is being aggressive to foreigners!!!
10. Friday rally
citizen   (12.10.10)
Democracy is great. Anyone can protest, demonstrate and/or celebrate to their heart’s content. However, I have always found that those who shout the loudest are invariably intolerant and disrespectful to the ones who don’t agree with their social or political agendas. A distinction should be made between human rights and civil rights – this demonstration lumps and mixes all the problems under the human rights heading, distorting what is in effect two different issues.
11. What about ARAB MK'S RACISM and TREASON?
(12.10.10)
Are't Human Rights reserved only for Islamo-Leftists? Are the others sub-humans? While fighting for "Human Rights", the Left forgot that they shoud fight for EVERYBODY, not only for those sharing their political agenda. The Rabbis should be allowed to voice their views just as the Arab crazed prechers and racist Arab Member of Parliament are allowed to. If the Left fights Rabbi's "racism", they should fight with the same energy and dedication, the racism and incitement of the Arab MK! The Left has proved that they they are not different than any other racist, supremacist gang - they are interested in anarchism and despise the Human Rights of others!
12. Human rights
Ezra ,   Florida   (12.10.10)
How wrong these sickennig leftists and their ynet sposor could be.Why not just give the country away?
13. According to the pics, 95% of participants are illegals
Libertarian ,   Haifa   (12.10.10)
So that's the reason for importing hundreds of thousands of illegal Africans - to bolster anarchist rallies? Good grief!
14. sickening
David ,   France   (12.10.10)
I wonder how those people would react if some of their family members are killed by arabs in terrorist attacks.
15. Interesting, isn't it?
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (12.10.10)
So I see Abdallah Abu-Rahma wrote from prison: "The barriers, land theft and violent oppression are the true causes inciting violence." Great ideas, except the "barriers" are there because of the "incited violence" by the Arabs. Secondly, there has been no "land theft" but land won in a defensive war that Jordan took part in and lost. You see for those of you who came on the scene later in life...that is to say recently...the West Bank was part of Jordon between 1948 and 1967. The Arabs that lived there were considered Jordanian Arabs. They never once asked to be an Independent country while living in the West Bank. Palestinians did not exist at the time. That's why UN Resolution 242 doesn't refer to Palestinians, but only to "refugees" when talking about the Arabs. But Israel is a great Democracy and this protest is proof of that fact. Everybody has the right to be whatever it is they want, that includes stupid.
16. #1 Move to Tel Aviv ya Habibi : )
Salma ,   Palestine   (12.10.10)
17. WOW
Matt ,   UK   (12.10.10)
Israelis marching for Human Rights. Strange times we live in.
18. Greed
olim hadashim ,   tel aviv/israel   (12.10.10)
Difficult to understand the greed of the Arabs for our land since they have 22 states covering 1000 times more than our Land of Israel.
19. Rabin square protets
Issy Hass ,   Ra'anana-Isreal   (12.10.10)
Miss wizman should flash some letters from some Isreali' Arabs(possibly in jail or dead) who tried to sell some property to jEWS.stop this double standard actress Wizman
20. Leftists
michael ,   Boca, usa   (12.10.10)
All these leftist morons should be tried for treason and if found guilty shot by a firing squad.
21. The 'Left'
John   (12.10.10)
I completely understand what the 'Left' is getting at - fighting for equality, freedom and human rights is a noble fight. But, and this is a big 'but', the 'left' does not seem to understand that this is a Jewish State or "State of the Jews', whichever you prefer. The whole purpose of the existence of the State of Israel is for protection of Jews. It honestly has nothing to do with Arabs. Laws, etc are for us, and for no one else. The left just doesn't seem to understand this. When it will be too late is when they'll get it.
22. Skokie, Illinois
Michael ,   Haifa   (12.10.10)
Just as the Neo-Nazis enjoyed freedom of expression to march in the predominantly Jewish village of Skokie (which never took place in fact) the principle holds equally true for the freedom of expression of those right-wing,racist, fascist groups of Jews here in Israel, who claim civil rights for themselves.
23. Newsflash Matt #17
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.10.10)
We invented it - moron. The issue with people like you is that you don't believe that we have any rights.
24. # 13 FAKE
Ricardo Macher ,   Karne Shomron IL   (12.10.10)
Why dont you create an original name for you? Leave me alone. You dont have the right to make fun of me because I am a settler. I have rights too. I live beyond the Green Line and I am a proud Israeli. Why cant you accept that?
25. # 16 TO SALMA
ricardo Macher ,   karne Shomron IL   (12.10.10)
Salma, I have lived in Tel Aviv, but honestly i cannot afford to live there anymore. I like the West Bank, the green fields and the open spaces. I truly would like to have a good relation with Palestinians, but the level of hostility is unbelieveble. If this goes like that I have no option but to return to Rio.
26. #1 Go home!!
Shlomo Kamera   (12.10.10)
27. Why refer to Im Tirtzu as "right-wing"?
sk ,   USA   (12.10.10)
After all, you guys don't refer to B'Tselem, Peace Now and Greenpeace as left-wing, and very surely they qualify. Can't you guys even try to be balanced?
28. TO MATT #17
Ann Ross ,   AUSTRALIA   (12.11.10)
IT IS OBVIOUS THAT U R A JEW HATER..WHY DO U BOTHER TO READ yNET?
29. Naomi Chazan
Rosie   (12.11.10)
Disgusting woman. Another George Soros puppet. She get big bucks for doing all this anti-Israel work. It is very sad to see Jews be so anti-Israel. It is their country. Did anyone ever hear an Arab be critical of their country. Anyone from Syria, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia. Anyone??? Only the STUPID leftist Jews are there to destroy their own country.
