1. well it is true, what start with jews never end with jews
ghostq   (12.13.10)
if it wasn't the jews, the muslim would find other minority to peak on, sad to say but the same behavior can easily divert to the Flemish people for situation of "might offend the prophet" situation as we saw in sweden over the week end, adressing the victim (aka the jews in this situation) won't solve the problem of marokan immigrant who got malic intention toward part of the Nedelernd minority, the minister who claimed to send the jews away is just hiding his racism by trying to show he is their saviour in the famous British method, but Flemish people r not that cold hearted, they know better.
2. Jews should move to Israel
Jew ,   Israel   (12.13.10)
even if there is no anti-semitism where they live. We need more Jews here for many reasons. One is to keep the Jewish majority here. Another reason is that in the Galut most Jews are assimilating out of the Jewish People whereas even the secular in Israel mostly marry Jews. Etc etc etc.
3. Ghostq so much hate comes from you
(12.13.10)
4. #2 Israel, among secular Jews is Galut too.
Moe   (12.13.10)
Very unpleasant! That's why many Jews would not move to Israel until it will be taken over by Torah Jews, Jews with Jewish conduct and Jewish hearts. Hopefully very soon.
5. to #3 no I am just protecting victims here
ghostq   (12.13.10)
aka jews who were hinted they should live because marokans muslim imigrants arras them and that is after Holand parliament member sugested it. the jews doesn't have to live, they r not the one who make the troubles in holland, and the police reports can back my claim, but since the muslim population in Holand never made anystatment meaning she agree with him than it allow the muslim to continue their behavior only this time there will be no jews to bother, but other minorities, the parliament member refered on countless police complainets that was proven as legit. hence this article, no hate just reality check.
6. to #4 hardly most of the jews outside
ghostq   (12.13.10)
Israel return to religion as connection to the mother land, unless it's socialist country.
7. 4Moe I do not agree with you!
ORA ,   Jerusalem   (12.13.10)
The more religious people will come ,the quickier the Tora Jews will take over leadership in Israel, and the Tora will triumph in Israel for the good of the orthodoxe, and also for the secular. And even more for the secular women. 85% of secular women are cheated by their partners. It will also be a great benefit to the youth.Secular parents do not feel anymore secure ,when their children are at school. Many send their children in religious schools because of that.So everybody will benefit from reintroducing the jewish values in the jewish state Israel.Religious jews do not hesitate come. I assume it is not Ynet s opinion, but i confide they are fair enough,to publicize my comment. Thanks Ynet.
8. It is a mitzvah...
Tuvia Schertzman ,   Betar Ilit, Israel   (12.13.10)
to live in Israel. It is called "yishuv haaretz". Someone should remind those in the Netherlands.
9. MR Chaiman ..read your history
historian ,   USA   (12.13.10)
read about your history in Spain ,Morocco and Turkey .. vs the Romans and the Germans you safest place is in a Muslim countries . they are the only one who recognize you as people of the book and respect you (if you behave ). you screwd up in Saudi ,they had to kick you out ...you tried to kill the prophit of Islam ..not a good idea . we were all fine until 1948 when you decided to stabb them in the back and push them out of the homeland(Palestine ) ....in god !! Name !! you still have little time to repair your mistakes and take them back . i don't know what else you can do . your return to one spot (Israel now ) ,is one of the sign of the approach and the proximity of the end of time (great sign for the closness of the judgement day ) . according to the christianity and Islamic books . i guess you need to make your choices and ask youe Rabbi for guidance if they have any . in conclusion ..you are not welcome anywhere except in a muslim countries (again ..if you behave )...verify by yourself . thanks .
10. Jews fleeing Europe would be a victory for antisemites
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (12.13.10)
It's nice to have Jews making aliya to Israel, however aliya as a result of bullying Jews to leave is a victory for antisemites - and let's not give the antisemites what they want. Just as Europe is hospitable for Muslims, it should be hospitable for Jews too. Jews are a part and parcel of Europe and should always remain this way.
11. to nm 9 ! history with no references? LOL
ilan ,   nazareth   (12.13.10)
Arab Leadership: We Made the Palestinians Leave their Homes U.S. and British leaders are not the only ones to attest to this. Abu Mazen, leader of Fatah, stated: "the Arab armies forced Palestinians to leave their homes in 1948." (Falastin A-Th'ora, march 1976) Secretary General of the Arab League, Azzam Pasha, agreed that Arab leadership encouraged Palestinians to temporarily leave their homes: "It was promised that conquering Palestine would be a military picnic, our advice to the Palestinians was to temporarily leave their homes" (Al-Huda, Lebanon June 5th, 1951). Syrian Prime Minister, Khalid Al-Azam (in his book Memories, 1973) laments and writes:" We brought disaster on the refugees, when we urged them to abandon their homes." "The yellow badge (or yellow patch)", was first introduced in ISLAMIC countries to subrogate jews, christians and bahai from the local ISLAMIC population long before the NAZIS! 60% of the jews in israel ("mizrahi jews") are refugees from ISLAMIC countries! the first documented massacre in the holy land is the Hebron massacre 1929. google "Jewish exodus from Arab lands" "yellow badge" "plunder of Safed 1834" "Farhud" "Dhimmi" "Tiberias massacre" "granada massacre" "hitler and the mufti of jerusalem"

13. THis bozo reminds me of the mavens in Pre WWII
Al   (12.13.10)
Europe who discouraged the Jews from leaving Europe. My late mother had cousins who emigrated to Israel from Poland in the 30's, set up residence in Kibbuts Ruchamah and lived to live another day. My Mother had to endure the death of almost 99% of her towns Jewish population and the murder of one of her sisters after the war bo one of the local polish police. Had she emigrated to Israel like her cousins, she would have been spared all that trauma. The Rabbi is a moron...nuff said.
14. #9, that history no longer relevant
Ben ,   USA   (12.14.10)
What is with the constant reminders that, historically, Islamic cultures were the safest places for Jews? That may be true historically. Many things are true about history, BUT ARE NO LONGER RELEVANT TODAY. It may feel good to wag your tongue at Jews in non-Muslim countries, but it smacks in the face of current reality. Europe just keeps backing the wrong horse. It perpetrates anti-Semitism for 2000 years, culminating in the Shoah. Then, in desperation to atone for its horrible behavior it encourages Muslims (also Semites) into its countries. And even when the Muslims are behaving badly, it tolerates them in the name of liberalism. It had no such tolerance of Jews for 2000 years, who just wanted to be left alone, and didn't even want to proselytize. AND THERE IS ACTUALLY A SEGMENT OF THE DUTCH POPULATION THAT WANTS JEWS OUT, AGAIN??
15. ANOTHER REPEATED MISTAKE
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (12.14.10)
Before the Holocast the Jewish leadership did little to nothing to encourage people to pack up and leave. There was this overwhelming need to ignore the warning signs what was about to happen. Again there are these warning signs and agian there is this denial to do something. Sadly even Rabbis do not always understand the Mitsvah dereitah to live here and are thinking that Europe is there home country. What is it going to take to wake these people up, another disaster?
16. Better to leave alive
Broomer ,   USA   (12.14.10)
Learn from the past. Leave Europe now so that you will live. The European citizens need to make a choice who they want to stay as neighbors - Jews or Muslims, but not both.
17. "support we receive as Jews"
Harry ,   Jerusalem   (12.14.10)
Sorry Rabbi Jacobs. Better take the warning. You are repeating what happened 70 years ago. Today the Dutch are warm & impressive. Your job is to care for your flock. It is not your concern when or whether those comments should serve as a wake-up call for European leaders. JEWS belong in ISRAEL...NOW!!!
18. 2-no, Jews should stand their ground
Dave ,   sf-usa   (12.14.10)
You have a right to practice your religion in any free country. Don't be intimidated by threats and form self-defense groups to protect yourselves if their Govts won't. In the 70's I was assaulted in L.A. for "being a Jew" (I'm not) and the JDL contacted me and then "visited" the offender who was brought to Court, apologized and imprisoned. Christians back you up on this because if you leave-we're next. By having communities all over the world you insure that you will never be annihilated. As we say, "don't put all your eggs in one basket" (you might lose all of them).
