Israel cannot and will not integrate 2.2 million West Bank Arabs into Israeli society because to do so would jeopardize Israel's unique status as a Jewish state. The handwriting has been on the wall for a long time. The final nail in the ersatz "Palestinian" coffin was when their so-called leadership walked away from a deal which would have awarded the ersatz "Palestinians" 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. He is a desperate man -- the monarchy in Jordan will not survive -- and he really does not want to absorb 2.5 million Arabs. He has no choice -- they are Jordanian citizens. He cannot refuse them entry. Israel has played this wonderfully well. The ersatz "Palestinians" have been conclusively proven to be intransigent, obstinate and unwilling to make even the simplest of concessions; they have been unequivocally shown to be whiny and demanding, whereas Israel has been shown to be accommodating and patient. Abdullah will have his hands full. Do I feel sorry for him? Not in the least. I am just glad that the ersatz "Palestinians" will now be someone else's problem. If Abdullah really wanted to make political hay, he would invite the ersatz "Palestinians" home to Jordan and offer them a hand in the governance of the country. That might just be the only way to save the monarchy. But let us not forget that the "Kingdom of the Transjordan" has no historical basis and was carved out of Mandatory Palestine solely to make the baby brother of Iraq's King Feisal happy (he wanted to be a king, too, just like big brother Feisal).
