As long as Hamas will not accept Israel's right to exist at all, and the PA will not accept Israel's right to exist as the Jewish state, there is no point in holding negotiations. Both of these groups are saying loud and clear that any deal signed (even if it meets 100% of Hamas' requirements) they will not acknowledge Israel's right to exist and there will only be a ceasefire not a real and lasting peace. This makes the whole process a waste of everyone's time.
