Can I have his address? It will be very cheap for Izmir.
3. Only flats? Turks have been building major projects in Isr.
(12.26.10)
Turkish companies built Azrieli Center, Israeli Air Force Headquarters, HaQirya, Israeli highway projects, and gas searching and distibution projects in Israel. Yilmazlar and Zorlu are the two Turkish companies that had more deals than any other foreign construction companies in Israel.

Izmir (where I am originally from) used to have a big Greek, Armenian, Jewish and Levanten population. Up until the 1940ies Purim was celebrated with a huge parade in the Karantina neighborhood freely. It all came to an end with the Varlik Vergisi. However the native Izmirli is used to this diversity and very friendly. If the entire Turkey was just like Izmir tere would be no issues between Israel and Turkey. So far the ultra Islamist AKP was never able to win an election in Izmir. Izmir is the bright face of Turkey. On the other hand, Turkish companies are always welcome to do business in Israel. Israel still has an ambassador in Turkey while Turkey does not. This also shows that Israel's intentions are friendly and always on the constructive side while Turkish intentions under AKP and with Davutoglu in command are at least ambiguous if not flat out hostile. And yes 80 thousand TL is really cheap for a 4 bedroom apartment. I wonder what part of the city they are building these.
5. Kemalists destroyed everything
Madlen ,   germany   (12.27.10)
@ David: Varlik Vergisi was under the kemalists, so what are you talking about? Turkey was always a barbarious place, don't make propaganda here for turkish militarism and kemalism (fascism)!!! And yes, Izmir (Smyrna) was a place with an almost 100 % greek and armenian population, so what did it mean for jewish life? It was good to live with greeks and armenians, but bad with (under) turks! Why are you so hateful toward armenians and greeks?? Tell the truth and stop falsifiying history!!
6. #4 Your statements are only partly true.

I'm from Izmir. I'm a person with no religion, I think the world would be a much better place without Middle Eastern Abrahamic religions- Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I dislike Israeli governments just as I dislike AKP and Erdogan. I do business in Israel, please don't try to draw an angelic picture of Israel. Turkish business people have been made a target in Israel for the last years. Yilmazlar was severely punished with no fair trial and the company lost a lot of money. Israel is a fully-fledged Middle Eastern state. Both Israeli state and Israeli people seek for vendetta and attack Turkish businessmen in Israel. You claim that Turkish companies are always welcome to do business in Israel, but that's not true as I personally experience Israeli vendetta-seeking mentality. It reminds me of Kurdish and Arab blood libels and vendettas. That's the same Middle Eastern mentality which can be easily found in Torah, Talmud, Bible, Quran etc stories too. You should try to fix Israeli state and Israeli people who are becoming more and more racist and paranoid. No one buys angelic Israeli stories anymore.

Kemalists might have done some bad things but they have modernized Turkey and they are much better for Turkey then the Ultra islamists. The Kemalists of today are much different then those of 1040ies. During their rule Turkey did not have the risk of being divided as it is today under AKP. It was during the Kemalist regime that the Turkish Jews became equal citizens. And Madelen you are totallyu confused about your history. In the 1940ies when the Jewish community was making those big Purim parades Turkey was ruled by the Kemalists not by Greeks.
