If other countries would make sure that the World knows about such acts of violence, society would be more concious and they would happen less- Israel does not ignore such things, our crime rate is low and we want to keep it that way because we are not savages. I also think it's pathetic how people can sit and write about the political or social aspects of the situation- there is tension in between the Arab and Jewish population, therefore the fact that the attackers are Arab is mentioned. Whenever a Jew does something outside of Israel they make sure to point out that he is Jewish. When an African American does it, it is also pointed out... In this case, for a very long time Jews have been fearing a third Intifada, and to most people it seems like an act of terrorism- if you want to rob someone, why kill them? The violent nature of such events are not seen often here, and it should be condemned.

It is very sad day but I find it irresponsible of a tour guide to hike alone with another woman in this area. Anyone with any sense who lives here knows you just don't do things like that! How long did the trip to the winery last?
