31. London is called Londonistan
Mark ,   Boston   (12.19.10)
32. Bigotry, prejudice, and ignorance
David   (12.19.10)
#21 - I agree with you. As a British Israeli Jew I am ashamed of some of the comments published here. I do not understand why a respectable newspaper like Yediot would want its website tainted by such ignorance and shameful un-Jewish bigotry. People who clearly lack the confidence or knowledge to write Hebrew, the language of the modern Jewish nation, nevertheless wrap themselves in the mantle of extreme right wing Jewish nationalism. These comments cause incalculable damage to Israel's image abroad.
33. Looks like british "jewish " invasion
Atomic jew ,   Dimona   (12.19.10)
#21 and #31 are the beach head they try to impose their snob shake and bake "Teaology"
34. Brittania of the future
shrinkDave ,   Miami USA   (12.19.10)
Ms. Solomon and her friends might want to consider enrolling in Arabic courses so that they will be better able to communicate with the future leaders of her country.
35. #32 David

Well said. If the world judged Jews by the hateful drivel written by American and Israeli talk-backers on Ynet , they would come away thinking that Jews are the most vile people on earth. Unfortuneately, it's quite possible that many people do form their opinions, of Jews and Israelis, solely from reading news-sites like Ynet.
36. When BBC and guardian is their news what do you expect ?
rachel ,   usa   (12.19.10)
Its constant anti-Israel propaganda .
37. #21 Did you say all this with an uppity English accent?
rachel ,   usa   (12.19.10)
38. Claire Solomon
Non-Jew ,   England   (12.19.10)
Is she THIS Claire Solomon........Ex-Socialist Workers' Party and admirer of George Galloway??? http://solomonsmindfield.blogspot.com/2009/11/party-to-win-clare-solomon-expulsion_23.html If they are one and the same person, I think that explains fully where her facebook comment was 'coming from' and makes it 99.9% certain that she is indeed an anti-semite. And whether or not, her comment makes her very ignorant even of her own country's history - she should look into the history of Clifford's Tower in York for a start, and find out why, in the middle ages, the area of London known as 'Old Jewry' was one of the few places in London to have stone-built houses, at a time when when most London houses were built in wood......
39. To # 9 - Ivan
Dave ,   Bs.Aires-Argentina   (12.19.10)
Ivan, as a person living in Argentina, I can assure you that your post is totally WRONG. We, argentinian citizens, know positively that this individual Roberto Martino, is a venomous Anti-Jew and Anti-Israel. So is the Left-Wing - Neo-Nazi Organization that he belongs to, they have performed a lot of violent clashes here in Buenos Aires. Please, try to obtain truthful information before posting inaccurate facts in YNet.
40. #36 so you haven't read the Times? Telegraph? The Sun
Rachel ,   London   (12.19.10)
We have more than the struggling Guardian here. BBC actually done a fantastic unbiased look into the gaza flotilla recently, where Israel really were the good guys, obviously, to the point Muslims in middle east were on the streets burning UK flags and cursing BBC. It's on YouTube to watch.
41. Britain,lot of things but they don't have MUSLIM leader like

42. Jewish History and Experience are Varied
Arik Silverman ,   MIlwaukee USA   (12.19.10)
Jews enjoyed long periods of success, for example in Poland, 1300s to 1800s. It's true that in many countries, whatever the success, expulsion often followed -- Poland, for example, Poles became jealous of Jewish success. But I want to address the issue of censorship. When I posted a Gandhi quote to the Guardian, which some have mentioned here as anti-Israel, not only was the Gandhi quote removed, but I was not allowed to post again. The Gandhi quote was from 1938 and stood up for the rights of Arabs in Palestine against Jewish immigration. It seems the "liberal" Guardian can't stand the historic truth to be made public. (The Guardian piece was opinion titled "What Would Gandhi Say?" It included a question about Israel/Palestine. I said we didn't have to ask what Gandhi would say, because he already said it. That is the quote the Guardian would not allow to be published.)
43. #32 and #35
R ,   Israel   (12.20.10)
Quite snobbish to assume that if you don't like the tone of a talkback, the writer must be American or Israeli. At Ynet you don't have to register to talk back. Many other online news sites require registration. Even with registration, these other sites have the same type of comments. Except one of the Indian news sites, can't remember which, where almost all of the talkbacks were respectful and low-key. Wish I could find them again.
44. #32 and #35 - rubbish
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (12.20.10)
First of all, I have read all comments here and I don't really know what you're complaining about. Can you please find me exactly which comments here show "ignorance and shameful un-Jewish bigotry"? Second, I advise you to find the talkbacks in British forums following the flotilla raid, and in Yahoo! news, regarding the Carmel blaze. And then tell me who is "the most vile people on earth". And I haven't even mentioned Stormfront and its derivatives. Much more than they say about Israeli and American talkbackers, your comments here say a lot more about how full of yourselves you are.
