These people came to our shul in N Calif Jewish community. They were dressed like MO Jews but they were clueless in shul. At seudot shlishit I kept thinking something wasn't right with them. I was trying not to be judgmental but I thought - they don't seem Jewish. After Havdalah the shul prez introduced a group of us women to them saying they would be coming to shul and that currently they attend BEIT YESHUA. My hair went up an I asked why do you want to come here? Who will you be praying to? I told them they couldn't come here and pray to cheezus. They were speechless. Needless to say they never came back. We have to be blunt with them. They are laying traps for our people in order to steal their souls.

Christians are Israel's biggest friends and the proselytization of Jews is abhorred. We don't agree with their tactics, but we can all agree that they have helped us out a lot and continue helping and supporting us abroad. They are like a second IDF for us and for that I will always be thankful to them. I think that some of the people on here need to focus more on learning Torah and teaching it to other Jews instead of worrying about who is trying to proselytize us. The best way to stop proselytization is through Torah study and education. The Torah is given to every Jew by God himself! It is the duty of a learned Torah Jew to teach something no matter how small or large it may be to another Jew that may not know it. At the end of the day Christians are the biggest Zionist and closest friends we have.

No missionary can convert a Jew who is strong in their faith, and secure in their identity. Our people have survived a millenia of torture proving this. As to this woman's brutal murder, no one deserves this, my thoughts are with her family.
