all the programes were designed for PC, in other words this article is just PR for the apple fans. too lil too late.

If you think this is just a plug for Apple users then you haven't been paying much attention to the healthcare IT advances and heavy debate going on in the US and Western Europe. The fact that Israel has taken the first step to using an iPad in the clinical setting is big time since Us hospitals are also looking heavily into using the device for "always on" access to clinical information and charge capture. Unlike the US, litigation in Israel is not out of control making such a bold action a welcome move. You haven't noticed it when you visit your local clinic but the entire medical system in Israel uses EMRs (electronic medical records) since 1995, allowing your information to be access and amended across the system. By comparison, hospitals in the US are just not looking into them with varying degrees of commitment and success.
