1. The sanctions are working...
Baruch ,   Marin County, CA   (12.22.10)
Now, with little fuel to power the Iranian army and with the stuxnet worm doing its part, the time is drawing near for a few bunker busters to be lobbed into those godforsaken nuke plants. And that'll be that with this regime in Tehran. Btw, most sensible Iranians want that nonsense to be over with anyway. It's just a matter of time.
2. Wow what a couple of months do.
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.22.10)
I do recall that Iran was bragging how they were going to replace the US in supplying aid to Lebanon.
3. Mind your own business!!
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (12.22.10)
The whole israeli image has been in trouble ever since day 1. You are in no position to fabricate anything about anyone. By the way,no matter how you look at it,the iranian image is a hell of a lot better compared to the israeli one. You should really try to see what people have to say and think about you guys in the free world.
4. Sacrifice of the Lambs
Mumbo Jumbo Dreams ,   Mt Ever Rest   (12.22.10)
What good are so-called sanctions? They don't work. Not in Iraq, not in North Korea, not against the Bosnians, never ever have they worked because the concept is flawed. That is to bring common people to such a state of misery that they will revolt against their government. You have to be kidding right? The only thing these so-called sanctions are doing is making some ostriches in America and the EU keep from making the real hard choice of confronting the murderous regime in Teheran, as was the case in Iraq, the only thing that will stop these gangsters is major force. Act now before it is too late and they spring out of their corner with nuclear reprisals.
5. Iran has plenty $$$ 4 every nonsense but nothing 4 Iranians

7. Peter # 3
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (12.22.10)
Well Peter, knowing that much of the world is like you.....who cares what they think or say? Dogs bark, ducks quack, you bash Israel. Perhaps it makes you feel good but it speaks more about you than it does about Israel.
8. To #3
Maurice ,   Los Angeles   (12.22.10)
We are the free world in the Middle East. If you had only 2 choices on where to live tomorrow, would you choose Israel or Iran? Come on be honest.
9. Peter, relax. Your rants have no bearing on reality.

pini ,   usrael   (12.22.10)
u mean people in the world dont like the one country where the jews are totally the ones in control of the country?!?! Oh man this is suprising i mean, i knew people around the world didnt like jews in general but to think that they dont like a country thats built by the jews and defended by the jews, well now THAT is just astounding. Boy oh boy, so wait Iran is in a better position than Israel? Hmm....

16. Peter #3 mind your own business
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (12.23.10)
You come to an Israeli news website on a daily basis and attempt to tell us what to do in our own country. We are not part of Austria and we do not take orders from wannabe-Nazis. As for fabricating something - exactly what have we fabricated. Anything at all? Only a racist like you thinks that Iran's image is any better than say Austria's in 1939. Pretty much the same. As for the 'free world' says and thinks about us. To quote one American actor who once said "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn".
17. # 3
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.23.10)
Totally delusional as usual. Peter is a closet muzzie.
18. #3
Jane   (12.23.10)
And you there in Vienna, Austria. Mind YOUR own business. You lost your right to comment on the "image" of Jews about 80 years ago.
19. AhMADinAJar runs Iran like a monkey colony
MK   (12.23.10)
just look what he looks like. He is now just an alpha male.
20. #3 - "Israeli image in trouble since day 1"
William ,   Israel   (12.23.10)
Really? Since the day we declared independence, we have received acceptance from the Intl Community (sans the Arabs - they don't really matter though). Countries opened up diplomatic relations with Israel right away, and the US and Soviet Union rushed to gain our favor. It has been this way since 1948. And recently we were accepted into OECD, Warren Buffet felt comfortable enough to invest in Israel, and we now have been blessed with major gas reserves. While naive kids protest in the streets about Israel, govt and business leaders speak highly of Israel and work with us. Latest polls in the US show majority of Americans wanting the US to stand with Israel - and that cross all ethnic and religious boundaries. How do the "Palestinians" fare on the "reputation" area? Since 1964, their name brings images of Munich, Black September, plane hijackings, and charred remains of buses. Not even the "Palestinian" diaspora (mostly Christian) is rushing to invest in Fatah, Hamas ruled areas. I'd say Israel's image is just fine...except in the eyes of Arabs and you...and as I said before, neither of you really matter.
21. Ending of subsidies hurts...lower-to-middle class
William ,   Israel   (12.23.10)
Wow, that was a dumb move on Iran's part. The majority of supporters for A'jad and his racist Islamic ways are from the lower-to-middle class. Perhaps his next step is to destroy the upper class after labeling them Public Enemy #2 (after Israel, of course) and the reason for the bad economy. Why not, Chavez is doing that right now.
22. 20 -the US and Soviet Union rushed to gain our favor??...
Evet at Ayalon ltd ,   Foreign office.   (12.23.10)
We have a job for you contact us ASAP.
23. Peter #3 or are you called Mohamet?
Eran ,   Singapore   (12.23.10)
I'd love to find out.
24. Israel won't survive a week the sanctions Iran's been under.
Ali ,   Tehran   (12.23.10)
Israel's economy is heavily subsidized by the US plain and simple. If Israel were to be under the same sanctions Iran's been under for the past 30 years, all the Eastern European free-loaders that make the bulk of Israel's population will be the first to leave.Oil just hit $90++, guess who's cashing in now???
25. Apart from some stupid religious americans..
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (12.23.10)
Who else is so supportive of israel? no one...Don't try to delude yourselves.
26. #24 Ali from Tehran
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (12.23.10)
Who is exactly cashing in? People that get salary/money from the government? Are you kidding me or you are just simply blind? You do not see the unemployed on the street? Do you really think you can feed all with $90.00 a barrel of oil? How selfish and misguided are you? Why does Iran have to go through this hardship? So the mullahs feel proud of their work?
27. Remember who blamed the jewish bankers
Ken ,   Australia   (12.23.10)
This is looking to be another world war 2 story, with the jews in the middle of the sandwich again, if iran breaks down totally, and is crippled economically , the fanatics will push toward the bomb as fast as possible, and just blame it on the jewish bankers. I have often said this iranian 4th reich is remeniscent of nazi germany in many ways, the way they operate and the fuel that drives them, there fanatacism. We must understand that if they get pushed to the brink they will probably shut down the homutz to the world, and also take other drastic measures, this could happen very soon, as they may attempt to change the game in a very dramatic way.
28. peter
Ann Ross ,   australia   (12.23.10)
just to remind u dear peter that austria supported hitler and is still very racist country. well, r u a neo nazi?
29. #24 don't you have a woman to stone or a homosexual to kill?
rachel ,   usa   (12.23.10)
savages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
30. Dark future: possibly for many in & out of Iran
(12.23.10)
Given the fanatic beliefs & ambitions of the Iranian leaders, it increases the risk they might resort to some desperate adventures to deflect the growing anger of the populace from the root causes of their misery. So failing the internal overthrow of the regime, the Ayatollahs or the Republican Guards might find it opportune to ignite a war directly or through one of their proxies.
