At any rate, Lieberman and Yisrael Beiteinu has,as usual, described the situation correctly and has offered a genuine solution. I worked for the party during the last election and will not be surprised if they become the leading facyion in the next.

Most Israeli politicians are corrupt or self-serving. Lieberman is one of them. He doesn't speak for me, or for most Israelis I know. I agree that more effort should be made on all sides to integrate the Arab population, but we're a country with Jewish democratic values and we will stay that way. Arabs are just 20% of the population, and if we do the right thing they will cooperate with time and won't pose a threat to the Jews.

What kind of democracy solves problems by divesting itself of a large chunk of its population? This is a short-term solution, that will result in longer term issues, as the society shifts towards polarization and isolation.
