While on a Jewish Volunteer Program last year in Israel, my son lived in the middle of Yaffo with other young Jewish Adults. He and his friends never had a problem with their Israeli Arab neighbors. Also, he spent time working in an English Camp for Israeli Arab Children in Nazareth. He lived with an Arab family for three weeks. They treated him well, and he never had a problem as a Jew in any of these areas of the country. The reason is because he treated them with respect, and they returned that respect. These people are citizens of Israel and should be treated respectifully as citizens of Israel.

I can't believe a Rabbi would allow such a thing. This is BS and this is not Jewish. Those people are terrorist and hatemongers for doing this. I don't care how bad the Arabs might be or how much they don't like Arabs, it doesn't give them the right to go and pull s*** like this. The Rabbi's never said go and evict people, they said not to sell or rent to them and these people took it too far... This just pisses me off. The police need to find those morons and prosecute them for their crimes.

Could I live in an Arab town in Israel-NO. Can I live in an Arab neiborhood in Jerusalem without IDF protection-NO. Can I even buy stuff up the block in a local store in Jebel Mukaber or Sur Bahir the Arab towns around me-maybe-it depends on who the cashier is at the time and even then I get sneered at. Racism is bad I hated anti-semitism when I am not in Israel, but it is not something I will tolerate as a Jew in Israel. Sorry for the Druze man who was mistaken for an Arab. People feel every time rockets are fired into their civilian towns. One of which hit a kindergarten just the other day. These are not verbal threats, like ones you received. These are BOMBS fired at their schools, hospitals and homes. Let me be clear, what happened to these people was WRONG! But it pales in comparison to 10,000 rocket and mortar attacks that bombed Jewish civilians and I believe has killed at least a dozen Jewish civilians. So when I look at bombs shot at Jewish civilians - vs - verbal threats at Arabs that made you feel "humiliated by hatred", heck it's not even a close call, is it?

David, Jews in NYC always wave the Israeli flag. Should we kick them out of their homes? The only thing Jews are accomplishing with these actions is showing those of us who weren't alive in the Nazi era, where the hatred came from.

Two wrongs don't make a right...what those Jews did to force out the arabs, one of whom served in the IDF is a disgrace and is not in keeping with what Judaism teaches us and in my eyes those "Rabbis" who decreed that prohibition of selling or renting to Arabs by Jews should be prosecuted , as should those whose behaviour forced the 5 Arabs to leave their apartment.

I am happy this happened to a Druze ex soldier. They are wannabe Jews that think they are actually part of the State because they serve, but they are not. They are very mean occupation soldiers and try to be more harsh than even the Jewish soldiers to show off. I laugh this happened. Let him learn a lesson in what his beloved Israel thinks of him.

If similar incidents continue to happen, Israel will have no chance in having a secure future. Racism is a very serious problem, that needs to be removed from any society. Lebanon is great example, you'd think that because everybody there comes from the same ethnic group, things would be alright, but not at all. The result is several civil wars, and cities divided into different areas according to your religious views. I am a Latin Catholic living in a society were Christians are a minority, but not even once have I ever felt any racism towards me, or that I am not wanted here. There is no such thing as a 'Christian Neighborhood' here, all people live together, and everything is fine and dandy.

I leave near by Arabic vilage and I can understand the Israeli side in this case... Its not about raisism its about normal behavior...I never were resist but when I learned how sexist and distorbing Arabic man can be I started to hate them!!!

Druze do not recognize themselves as Arabs.

A long list of atrocities have been exacted upon our people, by Arabs and Muslims. These cruelties continue this day. It is understandable that people will naturally indict all Arabs or Muslims, for the horrific acts of the perpetrators. But, this kind of justice is not good for Israel. It fails to bring us peace. and it certainly causes a rift amongst our own people. It is certainly incumbent upon our leaders to intervene and prevent this kind of thing from happening.

but Jews are forbidden to live in arab areas or to buy arab land. the incidents such as those reported by ynet reflect a refusal to surrender to arabs that insist that they have every right and that the Jews are strangers in the Land of Israel. decent people, who recognize that Israel is a Jewish State should be allowed to live anywhere.

Not too long ago there were signs saying "No entrance to jews and dogs" where I lived. I am sahamed that now we are the ones that write the signs.
