1. Solidarity?
Righteous Zionist ,   Israel   (12.23.10)
You make a goodwill gesture and they spit in your face. Let them all rot with their darling 'Palestinians.'
2. Reality: Hundreds of Bethlehem Christians flee to the west
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.23.10)
Go talk to the remaining Christians in Bethlehem and you'll find out where the real human rights and racism crisis is. The Islamic radicals in the Palestinian Authority, Fatah and Hamas are chasing the Christians out of Bethlehem and its sister towns of Beit Sahur and Beit Jalla. The truth about the ethnic cleansing are of course of no interest to any of the major human rights groups, since Arabs mistreating Arabs isn't a concern of theirs. What's pathetic is that the Christian and Catholic worlds have abandoned their brethren, who are fleeing by the thousands. In another 50 years, there will be a handful of Christians left to maintain the holy sites, and the Muslims will rake in the infidel tourist dollars that they are after. It is not a very pleasant or happy story, and what's worse is that the world doesn't care.
3. Victims of Abuse
John DeLancy ,   Alaska, USA   (12.24.10)
What the Christians are saying does not match what they are enduring. It is like asking an abused wife is her husband abusing her, with her husband standing right there and her knowing that she will have to go back to living with him. Of course she will say no and say whatever she thinks he wants her to. When you ask what caused her bruises, she will lie and say she fell down the stairs. Please don't believe the Christians when they say they stand in solidarity with fascist, evil Islamic Hamas, and please don't blame them for saying this lie. Thank you for letting them go to Bethlehem for Christmas. That was a kindness and the Almighty repays it when you do kindness for the poor - and in their case, the abused.
4. Even though there is no mention..
Christian   (12.24.10)
of Jesus's politics, it is unlikely He would have supported Palestine over Israel. After all, He came for the "lost sheep" of the House of Israel. At least, that is how it is written.
5. To #4
John DeLancy ,   Alaska, USA   (12.25.10)
Jesus would have without any doubt supported Israel. He "came not to do away with the Law but to fulfill it". The Bible says that the Promised Land belongs to the children of Israel and that it will forever.
6. Christian are fleeing Arab lands in droves
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.25.10)
The fear going to church in Iraq, Copts have the same problems in Egypt Nothing quite like the Dhimmitude the Muslim's practice against all non-Muslim And they still have the chutzpah to scream "Discrimination"
