If a country wants the world to sit up and notice their existence then they recognise a palestinian state and if they are looking for abit of prestige then decide they want to be mediators in the Israel / arab conflict not because they give a dam about peace. When was the last time there was a whole list of countries cuing up to be mediators in the war in Sudan ? Its not high profile & prestigious enough. This is the only conflict the international community wants anything to do with.

I mean Ecuador has nowadays a clown president very much taking after his Venezuelan "all red" president colleague. Meantime Israel has to deal with ever more difficult and mounting Arab hatred and pressure. You know, the majority of Arabs do not have enough land and they need Israel which is ten times larger than all the Arab lands !!!!
