8. All that to find a husband?
ORA ,   Jerusalem   (12.25.10)
In my time there were plenty on the ground.
9. Three GIRLS?
Alon ,   Jerusalem   (12.25.10)
How many boys took the courses? Realistically, don't you think it a more dignified title were you to call them WOMEN?
10. In World War II, Russia had some female fighter pilots
Rivkah   (12.25.10)
and mechanics in all female crews. Lilli Lutwak was an ace. It can work if the women are separate from male crews entirely instead of integrated. But it is not God's plan for women to wear battle dress. So there has to be a compelling reason such as few males to fill the positions. A war is coming and the mighty men (military) will die in greater Israel which includes America, Israel in the Middle East, Britain and northern Europe. So training women in combatant positions so that they can teach other women when the men are dead may be necessary.
11. 8 Ora, Jerusalem: Historically, women become stewardesses
Rivkah   (12.25.10)
to find pilot husbands. Sarah Netanyahu did pretty well as a stewardess in finding a husband. But it is unlikely male pilots will want a female pilot wife since kowtowing to a male would be more difficult for a female in the same occupation.
12. 3 women to finish Air Force...
Moshino ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.25.10)
Girls are not on a plane, they're in school.
13. Eileen Collins
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (12.26.10)
She was the first female Space Shuttle commander and captain and retired in 2006, I think this lady had no trouble flying a jet, either. There's an all-female C-130 crew that flies into Afghanistan. As for women being effective combat soldiers, just have an enemy yell that their butts look big in their uniforms and all hell will break loose :-)
14. Ruth 7 . There was NO president Weitzmann in Israel
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (12.26.10)
The first president was named Weizmann .
15. #14 there were 2 presidents with the name Weitzmann

The first president Chaim Weitzmann and the seventh president Ezer Weitzmann. TB Poster 7 Ruth is correctly quoting President Ezer Weitzmann.

M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (12.26.10)
Thanks! I was actually in israel from 12-08 until 12-16. From TA, I struck out on my own a lot and it's amazing what you find and see, when you get lost or go places where, you find out later, you shouldn't have been :-) I got into a bit of scrape on Masada, because I got tired of listening to the tour guide's canned history which I knew, akready, and went where I didn't see tourists. I don't know how the young man in the uniform found me between all those rocks and boulders, but he did and he insisted on walking me back to the big flag where he kindly took my picture.. In other words, I had a ball with friends and on my own. After living through 2 days of rain and wind storma in Tel Aviv, here I sit,, unable to leave the house, because of snow.
