Well done Lieberman!!! At least someone is prepared say what needs to be said. The sheer Chutzpa of Turkey - the lies - the mis-information. Nice to see someone on the Israeli side with beitzim

Kev ,   reno, NV USA   (12.26.10)
Rest assured, we will rely on our G-d! And He will deliver us as He promised to do! Make sure you're on the right side!
63. Yes, Minister, but why are you still in the Government?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (12.26.10)
The Government in which you are a senior member maintains ties with the Turks who insult, support those who call "Death to Israel", has closed its air space to Israeli civil aviation and praises the terrorist organization called the IHH! The Netanyahu Government has sold out to the Ultra-Orthodox at the expense of the safety of its citizens and buys the support of the religious right wing and still you remain a minister while breaking all your election promises to YOUR voters! The fact is that your Cabinet Seat is so dear to your that it parallels the self-interest displayed by the Prime Minister who is prepared to sell his country to remain in power!

Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (12.26.10)
of Avigdor Lieberman as I, myself, am. I joined Yisrael Beiteinu before the last election and put some work into seeing that it received increased votes. For those of you in favour, please consider joining the party and putting in some effort in seeing that they are elected with a significant increase. Your work will increase the effect manyfold.

Actually, Abbas is on record as saying that his family fled Tzfat in 1948 because they FEARED reprisals from the local Jews, since their family had been highly involved in the Tzfat pogroms of 1929.....they did NOT flee due to any actual Jewish violence, just their own fear of what might happen.
69. answer to president
Vahide ,   USA   (12.26.10)
As a Turkish ctizen i `m asking our president Erdogan to apoligize to Turkish ctizens. When the Marmara was going there they knew that possibility but they did not ask them stop. Israil stoped them with fire and what happend? THEY WARNED US before to ship go. We destroy our prestige in the world. Now asked apoligize........For what. and we are not a father of Filistin. They lost this lands with war. We lost 90 years ago also same land bu war. Shall we get it back? This was war , they were f ighting and they lost. Now should have to protect them. We should have to fix our country first. Look they already started to talk 2nd language in the goverment offices in Turkey.

72. Lieberman for PM !
bruno ,   Portugal   (12.26.10)
At last some common sense ! Lieberman says what most in the governent think but would not dare to voice in public. Politicians are cowards and morally corrupt, and I disike Bibi's attitude towards honesty. My question is, how can demons and angels sit at the same table ? Israel needs to decide whom they are going to support, since they are many voices out there asking Israel to relinquish the Zionist dream...
73. Lieberman Represents the Views of the Free World's People!
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (12.26.10)
Jews and ALL of the world's non-Muslims must have the basic human right of self defense! Mr. Lieberman, thank you for your honesty and ethics! Long live Israel! Long live the Free World!
74. Liebermann is quite correct
Ehoop ,   UK   (12.26.10)
He says what needs to be said in public. Netanyahu is not getting Israel's case heard these days. Perhaps he believes that his silence helps manage the situation. It might be true if Abbas and Obama were open to reasoned argument. But all they're interested in is being given an inch by Israel so that they can take a mile. Netanyahu's silence makes it harder for Israel's many friends to fight on its behalf.
75. # 56
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.26.10)
Good post & yes, I agree with you.
76. Lieberman's mother should apologize to the world !

79. Lieberman's stand is the answer
Sara Springer ,   Brooklyn, NY USA   (12.26.10)
Terror and deligitimization will stop when Israel has the courage and self-respect to tell it like it is no matter what "international" opinion says. We need leaders like Lieberman in the U.S. and Israel. Lieberman as Prime Minister would make the world a safer place.
80. see the truth
sinan ,   istanbul   (12.26.10)
blind people cant see the facts.erdoğan is the hero in palestine.in jarusalem, ramallah and gaza
81. lieberman is not damaging israel, but the only one who has
israeli ,   jerusalem   (12.26.10)
the guts to keep the record straight. Stop being afraid of turkey and their islamistic hatred of us. bibi - i don't vote lieberman, but please, support him where he is right and don't start to play nice guy with the vicious turkish government. they are terrorist supporters, that is what they are, they hate us, so please have to backbone to stand up
82. WAKE-UP!
Rachmiel ,   MechburgUSA   (12.26.10)
The entire sane world know's Leibby's right. He's just saying what every person with an IQ above 6 is thinking. Turkey threatens Israel's security with the assistance and sponsorship of this whole boat fiasco and has the gonads to even comptmplate an apology from Israel? It may lead to conflict; however, the alternative is to live without honor because you've sold your freedom and honor for a temporary ceasefire. WAKE-UP!
83. lieberman won"t......
justice for all ,   the universe   (12.26.10)
the pot calls the kettle black. mazeltov.
84. SO RIGHT
Reuven ,   Petach Tikvah   (12.26.10)
I dont usually hold Avigdor Lieberman in much esteem. However in this instance he speaks for all Israelis. In fact what Lieberman is saying should have come from the lips of Prime MInister Netanyahu. It is beyond my comprehension how the Turkish government can try and demand an apology from Israel for Turkish incitement. It is Israel who should be demanding an apology from Turkey Israel should be very cautious of Turkey in the future.
85. Lieberman spoke the truth; but diplomacy is often a stranger
dante ,   uk   (12.26.10)
diplomacy is often a stranger to the truth. anyone who believes that relations with turkey can be restored to the levels of 5 or 10 years ago has not been paying attention to the actions of the turkish govt and their moves to suppress the opposition. erdo and his cohort have changed policy. they have been assisted by a weak and foolish American administration.
86. but who are you?
observer   (12.26.10)
your views do not reflect that of the Israeli government.
87. Lieberman 'won't accept Turkish lies'
NN ,   Norway   (12.26.10)
Lieberman is right; it's fooolishness by Netanyahu to give in to Erdogan's demands!!! How do you think the Turks would have responded to an Israeli convoy with aid to Kurdish rebels? Mr. Erdogan makes me vomit!
88. I LOVE LIEBI!!
Dany ,   Suisse   (12.26.10)
Finally someone has the balls and the knowledge to analyze deeply the socio-political situation in turkey...
89. Lieberman I'm Proud of You!
M. Duvduvani ,   Yokneam, Israel   (12.26.10)
Lieberman I'm Proud of You! Keep standing up with dignity. Apparently, too few of our leaders have that very important trait.
90. Thank God for this modern day Israeli hero.
flyingdoc57 ,   Florida, U.S.A.   (12.26.10)
Bibi, you're not fit to be this guy's butler. You were a failure in your first term, and an even bigger joke now. So do Israel, and world Jewry, a big favor, and step aside so that a man with real integrity and honesty can lead. There's more to governing than keeping your tongue stuck up every American President's ass, and bending over for every world leader to take his/her turn. We love you Lieberman. Please don't ever cave to pressure. You are Israel's best hope for return to the glory days. The goyim will always hate us, but they should at least be made to respect us (as they did for for several decades after 1948).
