1. Surprised?
Albrecht ,   P.O.   (12.27.10)
Some thing changed. Israel killed about 400 children and created anymore enemies for the coming decades.
2. Put Libermann in and we will see a change
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (12.27.10)
Bibi is a great politician, he can skirt all issues and do nothing. We need a tough leader, Libermann seems to be the only Israeli with balls since Golda Meir.
3. as long as Bibi and Barak run Israel, nothing will change
chaim schonbrun ,   brooklyn ny   (12.27.10)
as long as the criminaly insane self hating leftist's cowards are running Israel, things will only get worse, and if the people of Israel will not wake up,and vomit out these cowards, they will wake up one morning and find themselves without a country.Let Lieberman with a coalition of the right take over, and do what needs to be done, and we all know what it is.

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.28.10)
Not at all surprised After all, Hamas used their own civilians as Human Shields, which led to an intentional increase of civilian casualties As a matter of fact, their spokesman, Mr Fahti Hamad, made a video where he bragged about it It's on You tube, have a peek http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWfwt0sLYLY
5. not quite
Max ,   Vienna, Austria   (12.28.10)
balls yes, but no jewish heart like Golda
6. Without Cast Lead this would have been a lot worst with time
Omri ,   Israel   (12.28.10)
Perhaps a war every 2-4 years to quit them down is inevitable.
7. policy of Israel to intimidate its own civilians
observer   (12.28.10)
In 2006, Jewish leaders did not ask their people to leave, but 70% of them ran away from the North in fear of Hizbollah missiles without ever setting eyes on a Lebanese guerrilla. In 1967, Egypt was forced to displace nearly 1.5 million population from those cities, but Israel continued for the next 6 years it air strickes deep in the home front destroying schools (e,g. Bahr El-Baqar Elementery School, Serso Cultural Center in central Nile Delta) and factories. The strikes aimed mainly for intimidation by by killing great number of civilians. Why doesn't Israel displace those from the war zone. did not Israel acknowledge Gaza as hostile enemy? or it is the policy of Israel to intimidate its own civilians?
8. "Hamas could have been crushed"
Salma ,   Palestine   (12.28.10)
Het Settlers of Ashkelon, Are You Kidding Amos Yadlin ?!he is HAPPY because Hamas took over Gaza! I don't know what planet you live on. please don't misunderstand me, but I wonder WHY the "rocket" Every time landed NEAR the kindergarten and not on it ?!!!!!!!!!
9. Surprised at you, Albrecht #1
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.28.10)
We didn't create any more enemies. They've already been convinced that "military struggle" is the only way to "liberate" Palestine. To this day the Palestinians have never taught their children to seek peace with Israel. Even worse, Albrecht, is that they have convinced fools like you that they can attack Israeli civilians as their "legitimate right to resist the occupation." It's not a right. It's not legitimate. And silly people like Albrecht support them no matter what.
10. salma
Alexa ,   Israel   (12.28.10)
I am a little cofused by your remark. either you mean that hamas is not hitting kindergarden by purpose or else you mean that we are firing those rockets . what did you mean?
11. #7 Observer from a remote distance
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.28.10)
In modern warfare you don't have to see the enemy, neither does he have to see you Rockets & missiles are launched from a distance, these aren't the days of trench warfare, they're long gone Therefore, since Lebanon was firing thousands of rockets, we knew where they were coming from, without having to see who was firing them If and when, the enemy will stop hiding behind their civilians, using their schools, mosques and other civilian facilities for protection, there would be no need to to target those structures which are now being used for military purposes, losing their immunity by so doing For Israeli civilians, the watchword is caution, head for the shelters when you know there's incoming fire In the future, just for a change of pace, trying participating instead of merely observing from the safety of who knows where Kibbitzers aren't worth 2 cents a hundred Egypt & Syria started the '67 war, so any inconvenience they incurred was their problem, not ours
12. #8 - SALMA - A friendly reminder
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.28.10)
You never did answer any of my easy questions, what happened, finger cramps from so much typing? Concerning the Kindergartens not being hit, it certainly wasn't for lack of effort or intent on the part of Hamas Those rockets were rather primitive, we're fairly certain that the newer ones that have been smuggled in are more sophisticated, with better guidance systems
