LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (12.27.10)
Respect .While we wish for good relations with Turkey ,Israel does not deserve to be treated like a doormat by anybody .Clinton please take note.
7. We don't hear Bibi criticizing Lieberman
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.27.10)
He says they have different views, but he has to say that, really, doesn't he?
8. Bibi, don't be an easy pray
Shmulik ,   Ashkelon, Israel   (12.27.10)
for Turks! They just want approval(justification) for their stupidity.
9. Excellent!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.27.10)
SMACKDOWN! There will be egg on a lot of faces in Ankara ... but it is hard to comprehend how Turkey could be so delusional as to think that Israel was going to apologize for acting well within the bounds of international law and convention in order to prevent a breach of a fully legal and internationally recognized blockade? Still, Turkey looks quite the fool, which gladdens my heart.
10. Israel sounds more & more like Yugoslavia...history.
Ken ,   Burma   (12.27.10)
11. #3,Citizen,K.F. I'VE ALSO KEPT FAITH IN THE PM
Ian ,   ניוקאסטל אָן טיין   (12.27.10)
During the recent pressure from Obama to renew the settlement construction freeze I sometimes got the impression that I was the only one who didn't think that Mr Netanyahu would cave in. He didn't cave in because he's still the same Israel patriot that he has always been and he gave away precisely NOTHING. Maybe it helps to have Mr Lieberman beside him to give support, but I for one have no doubt that Mr Netanyahu will stand up to Erdogan as skilfully as he stood up to Obama. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
12. 3 cheers for Bibi
john   (12.27.10)
Turkey must forget normal relations with Israel, until Turkey stops all incitements, Apologise for the sending of the IHH terror thugs on board the terror boat ,and pay full compensation to the injured I.D.F personal and their families.
13. Way to go Bibi
Birdi ,   Israel   (12.27.10)
This is the way to be a leader. Never allow anyone or any country to sh*t on your parade. Kudos Bibi.
14. #11 I UNDERESTIMATED NETANYAHU
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (12.27.10)
Bibi is indeed made of steel ,he can outwit our enemies.
15. NETANYAHU IS THE MAN
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (12.27.10)
Doing a sterling job , he really is smarter than we realized.
16. #10 YOU CLEARLY KNOW JACK
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (12.27.10)
What the hell do you know about Israel ?? A: very little.
17. Easy Turkey don`t corner Bibi
selim ,   UK   (12.27.10)
You are doing great Erdogan. just easy on Bibi. He is cornered already . that is enough for him. Let Israel alone in Middle east just stop helping them .and dont fall into the trap by helping Arabs. Turks should realise that Arabs and Jews are related and whoever helped or protected them are backstabbed at the end. Turks should just watch middle east eat each other. 600 years of protection over middle east is enough for Turks.
18. What Wacko's, apologize ?
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (12.27.10)
Why would Israel apologize for what Turkey instigated? What silliness. Don't they ever stop the lying, heck the whole world saw who started it. It was on video you numskulls. Israel innocent, Turkey guilty, case closed.
19. Well done now stop thefreeze
Martin ,   SA   (12.27.10)
No de facto freeze No to IDF conversion bill and yes to the budget. All that sorted would be a big accomplishment for the PM. Illegals - plan we need to retain a secure and protected Jewish population with Jewish values> we need to contain and not be threatened with secular liberal leftist loose type assimilation. Perhaps he could replace DM with Ashkenazi provided he is loyal and right conservative. Clear support for population in Yehuda and Shomron citizens. If PM dedicates sort it deserves the support and for showing a meaningful return to supporting his elected mandate.
20. Ship the night club bouncer back to Moldova - have peace now
Jack   (12.27.10)
21. Good. Now show us you can work to free Shalitila
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.27.10)
Now Bibi can turn his attention to Hamas, and impose a total blackout on all Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners. Come on, Bibi, show us you can lead! There's little risk in imposing the exact same conditions that Hamas puts on Gilad Shalit. It's time for the families of the Pal prisoners to have the democratic freebies cut off: no visits, no letters, no calls, no nothing. And the prisoners all get put into solitary confinement 24/7. Just like Shalit. Do it, Bibi!
22. To Test Turkey in Court Would Be Logical Except....
Dallas ,   Canada   (12.27.10)
... now that rationality and logic no longer shape world opinion, now that good and evil have become inverted, I would not trust that an International Court could have the discernment and wisdom to enact justice.
23. its about time Israel defends herself.
Michael   (12.28.10)
To those who say Israel should ignore the truth and just apologize that is bad advice. Capitulation to lies and terror only brings more violence it has never solved anything. Kol Hakovod Bibi
24. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.28.10)
Oh, boo hoo. Stop feeling so sorry for yourselves, and stop rewriting the history of the Ottoman Empire in the Middle East. "Protection?" Yeah, right. I've got other descriptive terms; much better ones. Now go stand in the corner and sulk to your heart's content. Turkey got exactly what it had coming. It could have been far, far worse -- Israel could have quite legitimately and legally sunk the MAVI MARMARA. Consider yourselves lucky that Israel opted to be generous. Next time, Turkish vessels attempting to run the blockade will not be so lucky. That's probably why there will be no more Turkish flotillas. You've learned your lesson.
25. So the occupation's lasted 43 years
(12.28.10)
So the occupation's lasted 43 years, and Bibi reckons Israel needs more time to end it.
26. Israelis and Israel founded on games
Ian   (12.28.10)
Serious sanctions are in the work in 2011. Mark my word
27. # 24 The S bend
vic ,   UK   (12.28.10)
Is blocked again
28. Interim agreement(s)? Very FUNNY
Samy ,   Palestine   (12.28.10)
Then agreement in principle, then memorandum of principle, then mutually binding initiatives and so on. Missiles can be fired form Alaska and Israel can't stop them. Get over it, Palestine is coming to Palestine near you in 2011.
29. Thanks Bibi finally!
Rachmiel ,   MechburgUSA   (12.28.10)
Finally! Some gonads by Bibi. Thank you for this sojourn into sanity Bibi.
30. To #9
Rob ,   Australia   (12.28.10)
SMACKDONW?? Don't make me laugh! Mr. Netanyahu MUST win the next elections. That is why he appears to be resolute.Mavi Marmara was 63 miles off the Israeli coasts and the Israeli commandos have come all the way from Israel and murdered those innocent people in the international waters.Apology and compansation MUST be paid and it will be paid in due course.Turkey can survive without Israel as she did from 1967 till Israel begged Turkey to reconcile in early 90s.History will repeat itself!
