1. Settlements diabolical?
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (01.06.11)
Quite so. In fact, the whole entity that calls itself the "State of Israel" is diabolical. This is documented by anyone who knows his or her basic theology.
2. the JNF donated about 2000 trees
zionist forever   (01.06.11)
Of course they don't tell donors that they are going to be using money to be used to plant trees in israel to plant them in the palestinian city as a peacemaking gesture. Israeli companies should certainly not be helping build this new city... its immoral

Once a Polak always a Polak. It starts in your mother's milk and it ends in the grave.

"Settlements are diabolical. They steal Palestinian land and are an obstacle to an independent Palestinian state, and it's time for us to put an end to that harm," Masri said ..'.and that's why I am building this new settlement rawabi'

Samir ,   Ramallah   (01.06.11)
This is Palestinian land....enough is enough my dear # 4, can't you think other than to steal land and enjoy the wealth of others acquired by you using force. Things change and you will never stay the strongest link in this part of the world.
6. No. 1
Madeleine ,   Israel   (01.06.11)
Diabolical? you are a joke. This was the land of the Jews before your Jesus Christ was born, and he by the way, was a Jew who merely set out to bring some reform into Judaism by aiming to take some of the power away from the priests. Your whole religion - assuming you are a christian? - is based on Judaism.
7. Rawabi, Dream Come True : )
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.06.11)
Thanks for "Israelis" who realized that we are here to stay, and therefore, there can be no alternative to peace and cooperation ; )

the wealth of others???? do you mean the wealth of the palestinians???? ignorant. what have the palestinians contributed to make anything or anyone wealthy except the usa billions of dollars that made arafat and abbas wealthy by squandering and stealing all this usa money and you, the palestinians, didn't see a cent of it ever. go complain to the thieves that rule you, hamas and the plo. how did suha arafat get 3 billion dollars, do you think?
9. Israel must claim all Judea/Samaria cities and towns.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.07.11)
If a Chinese firm built a city in New York State, would that city belong to China or America? The answer, of course, is America. Judea and Samaria have belonged to Jews for more than 3,500 years. Any city or town built in Judea and Samaria legitimately belongs to Israel and we must claim all of them. Whoever builds them.

Nope # 1 is not a Christian, but a muslim.....
11. Rawabi...
jerusalem   (01.07.11)
Interesting that these israeli companies want to "help out" (just a new market to them) the Rawabi project, on the other side of the apartheid wall. I commend Bashar Masry and the stance that he has taken, and I hope that he will be firm in this. Settlement companies can either take it or leave it (in other words, get bent, dani dayan). If importing from another country was available (thank you again, "israel") and could actually pass that checkpoint (which is mostly the case) they would have just went to that option.. Fayyad cant enforce that law being as the israeli state has crippled the Palestinian economy so much that no alternative to the Palestinians to support their families is available.
12. "crippled the economy" #11? Yes,
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (01.07.11)
Israel is responsible for the corruption of such Palestinian heros as Yasir Arafat who took all the money then bequeathed it to his wife who resides in palatial circumstances in Europe. Or is it the social welfare mentality of Palestinian Arabs who take and take and take without producing anything of substance being kept aloft by the international community? I'm waiting for the time when Palestinians will look at themselves and take responsibility for their own plight. Unfortunately, after sixty years or more of blaming Israel for all their problems, this just isn't going to occur.
13. The person who calls himself "graczek"
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (01.07.11)
publishes under that name only in Ynet, JPost and Haaretz, always representing Israel as evil, never adding anything of substance. Let me add something, then: In the January 2011 edition of the magazine Israel Today, an article on page 10 appeared under the caption "180,000 Palestinians Treated in Israeli Hospitals". Amidst all the media (and Talkbacker) reports of Israeli "occupation", more than 180,000 Palestinians from Palestinian-controlled territories were treated in Israeli hospitals. The byline of this story was by Ryan Jones. The person called "graczek" is not worth the time spent on his addled three-line comments but, for any occasional Reader influenced by his anti-Jewish hate campaign, one can also look for the marvellous capacity for Jews to overlook propaganda and terrorism into the heart of compassion and mercy of the Jewish soul. If only the same could be found amongst Muslim Arabs.

the comparison you made is exactly the same when you compare apples with pears. every comparison goes crippled. when abraham came to the so-called "promised land", there already lived a people there eg. the caananites among others. when the israelites were there all the other peoples who lived there were annihilated/wiped out of the face of the earth. so the israelites/jews conquered the land between the river jordan and the mediterannean sea and lived there untill the jewish diaspora started. in the 19th century the rise of zionism began and zionism still excists in the middle east untill now. you can read how it all began in genesis, of the old testament of the bible.
15. #12: All you have to do is research about the subject
jerusalem   (01.08.11)
Are you trying to get the occupying state of israel and its atrocious acts off the hook? I apologize, though that also isnt going to work. Arafat's wife and other members of the "Palestinian Government" are nothing but thieves that thrive on corruption. You cannot assume that Palestinians keep taking without results as you cannot prove that. Its clear that you have failed to notice various positive projects that have come out of the international aid. While I am not that familiar with intl aid and the PNA, I do know that institutions like Al-Quds University has done a lot to give back to the Palestinian community. I dont know if you seek the producing of substance back to the intl community or the Palestinians, though I will focus briefly on the contribution back to the Palestinian community. I will not even count the number of publications that have been published on research on Palestinians....I would have gone into institutes such as the Child Institute, the Community Action and development Center, and the Center for Jerusalem Studies among others, but then again either you have purposely overlooked this or you have no idea. (You know, they have an English section of their site: http://www.alquds.edu/) Dont worry about the Palestinians, they have done fine with the cold shoulder and will always be so. On a different note shifting blame from the occupier to the occupied in the way you have done is a blatant disregard of circumstance and the situation of both parties with an inclination to israel's. I could care less which side you take, just as you could care less which side I take, but facts still show regardless.
