1. Fayyad, you love a lie more than yourself !
bruno ,   Portugal   (12.29.10)
The PA is a Facebook state and it's not the squid (Lula in portuguese) from Brazil that will change that status. Arabs love dreaming and will always end with a disaster. Just watch an Egyptian film. It starts out in a romance and finishes in a tragedy. Fayyad and others don't want to see the truth. Just lie to him and he'll love you for it..
2. He thinks he's Hashem.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (12.29.10)
"And Hashem said... and it was".
3. why why why
yacqub ,   Berbera Somali   (12.29.10)
I don't understand what makes you to say that Palestinian can't not have freedom as they wishes but Jewish has right to have freedom as they wish.
4. He's right - I think they need more of a Linkedin state...
Wade Rosenblatt ,   Milam County, Texaa   (12.29.10)
5. Fayyad, it took you 63 years and half the territory you
leo ,   usa   (12.29.10)
could have to arrive to this conclusion. I wonder how mush time will it take you to make next step.
6. Go Fayyad Go : )
Salma ,   Palestine   (12.29.10)
open your hearts ,Palestine is coming.
7. Palestinians solve their refugee problem
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.29.10)
Palestine declares itself open for business. Everybody recognizes Palestine. Israel declares it recognizes Palestine. The refugees stay where they are, as do the borders and all other outstanding issues. In order to "liberate" their "occupied territory," the Palestinians attack Israel with a wave of terrorist attacks on Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Israeli towns in the west bank. They justify the attacks since Palestine is now a state, everybody else recognizes the green line as the border. At the same time, Hezbollah and Hamas tried to open up two additional fronts, thinking that they could tie up the IDF. More rockets land in Tel Aviv and other locales, and Hezbollah attacks Haifa, Safed, Tiberias and other northern locales. Hundreds of Israeli civilians are killed and wounded. Israel responds with a general mobilization, and delivers devastating blows to the Palestinians and to Lebanon. Massive damage and casualties in Gaza, Ramallah, Jenin, Nablus and Hebron. After several weeks, the Arab countries refuse to mobilize and join the war. The UN imposes a ceasefire and forces a peace conference, at the end of which the two sides agree to a land swap and final borders, with all other issues postponed to a future date, and the refugees are still exactly where they were. Just extrapolating...
8. #3 Everybody knows Israeli PM is Hashem
(12.29.10)
9. #3 no problem with a "Palestinian state"
rebecca ,   Modiin   (12.29.10)
but we have a problem with any state that wants, as it's major reason-for-being, our destruction. We're also a bit tired of it claiming we have no claim on statehood or this land (when we've been here for at least 3000 years) when "the Palestinians" really were created in 1967. because Jordan and Egypt did not want them.
10. I think as part of the final status...
Dan S. ,   USA   (12.29.10)
Israel should provide him with a Facebook account for his beloved " Palestine" and be done with it. Final status. End of story. If that's not palatable, I suggest that the Palestinians be relocated to Norway, France, Belgium, or all the other countries that love them so dearly.
11. Digital or paper state!
Lengualima ,   I   (12.29.10)
I've never agreed with Fayyad, for the first time in my life I am. The Palestinian state is Facebook, in other words the Palestinian state was, is and will be a digital state, but physical, a state paper, is the only future he has, I suppose that the flag waving aim high?, will be just that, digital or paper.
12. Fake-ad
Jeff ,   USA   (12.29.10)
Maybe when YOU decide to actually promote peace YOURSELF instead of the usual BS rhetoric YOU have put forth there will be peace.Your ilk hasn't done nothing for the process in the last 17 years except murder, theft and hate..The annex of Judea is needed due to the absolute welfare state that you have supplied for your people.Your ideas put forth are nothing but pipe dreams. All or nothing, you have no idea of the word compromise. All you know is hate..Maybe when your generation is all dead and buried your children could try for peace,of course you wont let that happen.. as your already(as always)committed to making sure they grow up with hate filled hearts..and welfare for future generations.Ya had your chances(plural) and blew them all..Sorry, go to Jordan where you belong,Im tired of paying for you.
13. How's this for a solution to arab aggression?!
Reuven Ben-Tal ,   Jerusalem   (12.29.10)
Should the UN schedule to vote on the establishment of an additional arab state within the Land of Israel on Tuesday, we should officially annex ALL of the so-called "West Bank" on Monday! In any event, this action is long overdue!
14. There are more pressing issues
Superhero ,   Johannesburg RSA   (12.29.10)
Rather clear up the mess in Somalia which affects MILLIONS of innocent people before dealing with these spoilt arabs who stubbornly refuse to recognise Israel as the homeland of the Jewish nation
15. Occupations don't end by asking them to leave Mr Fayyad
Roz ,   USA   (12.29.10)
Palestinians have been asking Jewish occupation to leave Palestine for 63 years and Jewish occupation hasn't left Palestine yet. How did France finish Nazi occupation? It wasn't negotiations and peace process BS.
16. Only quality U need to be a FRIEND,is to hate Jews like Pal
(12.29.10)
17. Won't even be "Facebook" or "Mickey Mouse" state.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.29.10)
18. #15; you are off by about 3500 years
kulmoD ,   lala land   (12.29.10)
I love when Americans talk about occupation by others.
19. facebook state
joanne turner ,   The Woodlands,TX   (12.29.10)
i wonder if salma and other arabs in the west bank and gaza relize if they get their "Mickey Mouse" state they want so bad that will mean they must become self-sufficitioned?? They will have to provide for all their citizens needs?? Food, water,electricity,education,medical,jobs,etc... that cost money and they cant depend on the world to support them as nations have to provide for their own peoples! That will mean the free ride they have had for the last 62 years will be over..GOOD LUCK! i got a feeling even if they manage to pull it off they will always be a "Mickey Mouse" STATE!!!
20. can someone recognize
pini ,   usrael   (12.29.10)
beverly hills as Pini Hills? I really want that land as mine and my people once lived on it many many years ago. Hey pallys have the entire world recognize cease fire borders, lol, you still cant physically take it from us.
21. To #15
Dan S. ,   USA   (12.29.10)
The US ended the Nazi occupation of France. The French were as pathetic as they are now - When they faced the Germans in 1940, contrary to popular belief, they had superior military forces, both numerically and qualitatively (in terms of equipment in the latter case). The typical French indecisive attitude prevailed and led to the occupation by Germany.
22. Manage a Farmville on Facebook first, Fayyad
William ,   Israel   (12.29.10)
then you can move up to the real thing if you've proven yourself.
23. #6 - "Palestine" - yes...but what size?
William ,   Israel   (12.29.10)
My heart is open....to the nation-State called "Palestine" but including only Ramallah.
24. #14 - both attacking Israel and giving into spoiled Arabs
William ,   Israel   (12.29.10)
are low-hanging fruit. No real effort needed there but you are applauded for your efforts. Now in Somalia or Darfur, you need to work extremely hard to gain an inch and no one will applaud you. Notice how quickly NGOs gave up on Tibet even though the situation there is now worse.
25. How About a Twitter State
Aharon   (12.29.10)
A lot of talk and not a whole lot of substance, really describes the "palestinians." If there was such a thing as a "palestinian state" before Israel's existence why is the land only occupied in 1967? Wasn't the land occupied by Jordan in 1948? Oh, I forgot, Jordan is the "palestinian state."
26. Fayyad and Facebook state
Yakov ,   Somewhere   (12.29.10)
Wow, that was funny. If only I were somewhere else, I'd have a nice hearty laugh. That was a good one.
27. They have 22 HUGE Oil-Wealthy Arab Nations for their Phony
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (12.29.10)
State. Arab Muslims were already illegally given 80% of Jewish Palestine by the British. The new Arab country became Jordan. Not one more inch of Jewish land to global Islam!
28. hahahahaha facebook state!! :)
esther   (12.29.10)
lol thats the best they can get :D
29. "Fayyad: We want more" - no problem!
Dr.Brown ,   Seychelles Islands   (12.29.10)
Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Ecuador can recognize Palestinian statehood four times more. No problem!
30. Palestine needs Israeli recognition
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (12.30.10)
or impose it. As Palestinians don't have an army to impose its statehood it will have to negotiate with its neighbours.
