Mark. G ,   Israel   (01.03.11)
2. Shut up about the freeze!
Rachel ,   US   (01.03.11)
Why is he bringing this up? Agreeing to the first one was stupid and now he wants to add salt to the wound by talking about the 2nd freeze fiasco. You won this round, leave it alone.
3. Let's fetch WikiLeaks to prove Bibi's spineless leadership.
A.O.   (01.03.11)
4. It's time for January Fool's 2011 !
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.03.11)
any way that means one thing: the "Israeli" decision is not independent !!!
5. Dear Bibi... you talk a good line
seadog1946 ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (01.03.11)
but until you display a map of Israel's borders in, around and through the proposed Palestinian archipelago, no one believes you. As to a peace agreement with the Syrians... you know that will never happen because Israel will never return the Golan... Israel desperately needs the fresh water sources of the Golan.
6. Freeze. Freeze. Freeze.
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (01.03.11)
Time to freeze. Time to pack and come back to the real Israel, within the Green Line. Give me a good reward. A nice house in Nethanya or Naharia and I am ready to cooperate. Just freeze and compensate us.. it is easy, dude.
7. most probably, the US rejected the freeze DEAL
observer   (01.03.11)
why should the American tax dollar be used to feed the settlers when their presence, even in a freeze state, jeopardize the national security of the US itself. No more submission to Israel's blackmail.
8. That Means...
Hakim ,   Palestine   (01.03.11)
It is Palestine's turn to create facts on the ground
9. Bibi admits the U.S is more Zionist than Netanyahu
Avi Steinson ,   Tel Aviv   (01.03.11)
10. with this bibi confirms, that without the US he doesnt do...
eporue ,   europe   (01.03.11)
anything..... he could have freezed, and talked to abbas. but that obviously doesnt matter at all... only, what US says... so, no negotiations, no talks, nothing possible without the US and possibly the EU.
11. to 4
hardy ,   czech   (01.03.11)
Sweethard Salma, I dont understand your anguish. And what "Palestine" or "Independent Palestine" ??
12. #8 How about making "Palestine" a fact on the ground?
Eli   (01.03.11)
13. Wrong move
Brod ,   USA   (01.03.11)
Why talk about a state when autonomy would be a better solution? The best solution will be no state and no autonomy at all for the dark forces. Until the latter knows about peace and nation building, talking about a state is a recipe for disaster for Israel.
14. 11,should Salma have said: the Israeli decision is dependent
observer   (01.03.11)
15. To Impostor # 6
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (01.03.11)
Please, Nobody will believe that I think that way. More than that, just a pro arab may be able to freeze, only a non lover of the Land of Israel!
16. Even Shas agreed to the freeze
zionist forever   (01.03.11)
Obama offered in exchange for a three month freeze F35s jets free of charge. Jerusalem would not be included in the freeze. There would be no further freeze demands after this one. The US would support Israel in the UN & kill Goldstone. Most members of the coalition including Shas agreed it was n offer to good to reject. The only condition came from Beni Begin who said the freeze should be conditional on Obama putting all these promises into writing. When we asked for it in writing suddenly Obama changed his tune. If we want the planes we pay for them they will not be free. The freeze must include Jerusalem. If no progress is made on the subject of borders during this freeze Obama would not rule out demanding a further freeze. We got everybody including the religious block to support this thing but when we called Obamas bluff he showed once again we can't trust a word he says. If Obama was unable to deliver all these things he should have from the start made the best offer he was capable of delivering. He acted like a conman not president trying to deal with a serious problem.
17. Brrrrr ..... its freezing?
Dan ,   Florida   (01.03.11)
It is time to freeze...freezing this stupidity with the Palestinians. Jordan expropriated their land and they need to go back to Jordan. Jews, let us stop beating ourselves up and making concession after concession with nothing but repayment of terrorism from the Palestinians, Send them all back to Jordan, or Gaza, so that we may have peace at last.
18. Bibi you make no sense.
michael   (01.03.11)
19. To Hakim, @ 8, Time end.
Lengualima ,   I   (01.03.11)
to 8, Hakim. Hurry up because the clock time of a Palestinian state is coming to an end, has 45 years running and is approaching zero. if Abbas lost another opportunity, time to finish. No Palestinian state.
20. Obama backed out of freeze when Abbas objected
rebecca ,   Modiin   (01.03.11)
That was plain to see. What's new here. Bibi said he'd take the offer to the government once it was in writing. Abbas screeched like the witch he is, and Obama ran a mile. I'm happy with what Bibi did, although I would have wanted a lot more than was offered. Only thing we missed was making it TOTALLY clear to the world, at the time, who caused the freeze not to happen.
21. #16 - they offered candies, to stop the illegal...
eporue ,   europe   (01.03.11)
settlements for just 3 months - which you wanted in addition "written", and without giving any guarantees yourself, that an agreement will be reached... after all the foot-dragging ! and this, while most world leaders might ponder about "written sanctions" for you...
22. Freeze Game
Harold ,   USA   (01.03.11)
Is this a new game Netanyahu playing. He is blaming President Obama and Secretary Hillary for the freeze game. This man is a very dangerous man and has to be stopped. Period
23. first-class liar
frank ,   usa   (01.03.11)
24. Has anyone noticed...
Nour ,   One-State   (01.03.11)
Has anoyone noticed how Bibi's nose has elongated since his first stunt as "prime minister"? What bibi really means is that the US did not agree to a freeze which would cost the US billions of dollars, with no guaranteed results from the ongoing charade known as Israeli government. Eventually, the emperor will be left naked, and justice will be served. Stay tuned for the total demolition of the fantasy called Judea and Samaria! Palestine getting recognized as a free and sovereign nation, while settlement factories are relocating inside the green line on a daily basis. Alas, things are going in the right direction!
25. FREEZE OR NOT TO FREEZE
Issy Hass ,   Ra'anana-Israel   (01.03.11)
Sir-it is amazing for Obama who created the freeze problem decided to change his policy It is too late where now EU,the Arab League cheered Obama for his first stipulation
26. To Nour #24 Obama and the rest
Lippy ,   Proud Israeli   (01.03.11)
Isn't it amazing that Obama's side kick, Ms. Clinton, made a verbal offer of the "goodies" costing millions of dollars to obtain an agreement for the freezing your leaders so much desire. When it came to "tachlis" they withdrew. Seems to me that Obama's pen ran dry. So much for trusting the American administration. Your leaders had ten frozen months to earnestly sit down and talk peace, but they are bluffers in the same mould as Obama.
27. #24 Palestine getting recognized...
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (01.03.11)
is a far cry from Palestine ever coming into existence. Things may be moving in the "right direction" without ever getting to the desired destination.
28. u.s. stops freeze
moron ,   galut   (01.03.11)
i dont believe israel thru bibi has asked for another freeze --it's too stupid but he will make other concessions--ynet just wants to make democrats look like friends
29. Tzipi Livni
Lippy ,   Proud Israeli   (01.03.11)
Ms. Livni is all talk and very little done. During the last war in Lebanon she agreed to a ceasefire with her friend Condie Rice while Israeli troops were deep inside enemy territory thereby endangering them. In any event the agreement of ceasefire has only led to the Hizbullah being strengthened. What happened to all her talk about "firing" Barak after the war?
30. To: No. 24
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.03.11)
So, what are you going to do when Israel formally annexes Judea and Samaria and repatriates its Arab residents to Jordan, country of their citizenship, thanks to Jordan's Citizenship Law of 1954? There has never been a country called "Palestine," and there never will be a country called "Palestine." You co-opted the term "Palestinian" -- you know perfectly well that the word "Palestinian" was used exclusively to refer to the Jewish people. Arabs were just always called "Arabs." You people never had an original idea in your lives, and you are not likely to come up with one now. Your best bet is to simply realize that the only "Palestinian" state that will ever exist is Jordan. What the hell is a "Hashemite," anyway? Cut your losses while you still can. There is no place for you in Medinat Israel.
