As much as I dislike Dahlan I think the PA needs to get rid of the Arafat generation. From what I have seen from him Dahlan seems to be more of a realist than an idealist who started out in the PLO. He is a politician and its easier to get politicians to deal with reality than it is for an idealist.

this guy is the largest symbol of corruption , power missuse , and betrayel . he is an israeli colaborator and a big theif , good to go abbas in fighting corruption , but i dont think israel will let him go easily , this is their man in the area and he was opposing any patriot ideas .

First Intifada and the second Intifada generations are not Arafat generation. For Mr. Dahlan , there is absolutely no substitute for Arafat, Dahlan could be a good leader , he is a politician with charisma but he chose to burn himself alive because of chooses the wrong alliance at the beginning of the game !

Dahlan is one of the most corrupt Arabs who is very rich because of deals he made with corrupt Israelis. The reason Abbas got rid of him is not because of a coup but because Dahlan criticized Abbas.

He is a true example of how politics can change someone's life. This guy was a taxi driver in Gaza in his early life...after engaging in Fatah he turned to be the "Hero of the Day". Too much money on hand, access to CIA, Shin Bet personal and many others made him also an idol in collaboration. He is corrupted, bad and has thugs style.
