It wont be the first time that the Palestinians and anti Israel groups have lied about the cause of death of one of their people. Remember the little boy whom Israel was blamed for shooting..and the causualty who jumped off his stretcher and ran when things got a wee bit hot?

From the very beginning, circumstances surrounding this death have been suspicious. I'm glad at least, this time, the IDF didn't rush to apologize for something it did not do. What seems clear is that the Palestinians are trying to create another faux "martyr". Well some of us are clued in to their lies.

What happened to her? We'll never know. All we know is that she died and was quickly buried. The news all over the world was that Jews killed a peaceful Arab demonstrator. A couple of weeks ago a mentally ill PA young man was induced by his family to infiltrate a Jewish town so that he would be killed by the Jews. A few months before that a Jew was filmed running over an Arab boy. The incident was all over the web. What they did not say is that this incident had been set up by the Arabs. The cameras were there, the children throwing rocks were there, and so was an unfortunate Jewish motorist trying to negotiate the narrow streets while escaping a threatening mob. What the Jew did not know is that it had all been choreographed. The Jew could have been lynched for daring to drive in eastern Jerusalem. He was not, but in his haste one of the kids was inadvertently ran over. No damage done to the boy but the incident made the headlines. Jew runs over Arab child. The Al Dura incident was also choreographed and it made headlines for years. All these events must be put together and investigated by police. There should be a STRONG DETERRENT (large fines, transfers to Gaza) put on those involved in lies and choreographed incidents aimed at slandering and delegitimizing Israel - particularly when lives are deliberately sacrificed, whether Arab or Jewish. A suicide bomber might gain sympathy for the Jews. But an Arab killed by the Jews has huge and lasting PR value for them.

No matter what any newspaper now says, and I'm betting you won't find any retractions in rags like "The Guardian" or any British Newspaper for that matter. I have no personal knowledge of this incident. However, in Jenin they lied to me, the UN and the world about the number, extent and causes of casualties. The same was true of PA accounts and operation cast lead. If the allegations are in any way true I would expect complete documentation to be made available to the IDF. Otherwise, I can only assume that this pattern of deceit, lies, false accusations, and slander will continue and will be bought by the liberal Israeli media and by most of the mainstream media in the West.

how is it possible, that if the protest was full of rock throwers and tear gas, that Pollack was not only able to notice this woman there (so he claims) but also follow her status from the protest, to being taken by an ambulance, to dying in the hospital....all with a total of 998 other protesters around them, in mayhem. I find Pollack's testimony hard to believe considering the circumstances, and he certainly has an agenda with a desire to prove the IDF wrong. If she was there, then many others of the 1000 protesters would be able to corroborate Pollack's claims but so far haven't. And the medical records seem to paint a different picture. Another case of use a normal death to launch a racist war against Israel on false pretenses....the only kind the Left seem to come up with.

When I was in Jerusalem with the Women of Green protesting in front of the "home" of Rifka Glatt, a prosecutor of horrible conscience, I was filmed by at least two crews. Surely if minor peaceful protests such as that were filmed, I would think the IDF would have very detailed films of violent protests.

Shin Bet must exhume the body and do the tests. If it's true what the Arab side says pay compensation to the family and apologize. If not send Pollack and fellow travelers right away to Gaza. She most likely died from tear gas but there could have been other health problems that added to it. Tear gas or any gas for that matter is deadly if you breath in too much and lower the oxygen in the bloody to much.

They have always been led to believe in the purity of Israel and its army. It is as if they are doped with this info. I don't blame them for refusing to even believe that a protester died in a demonstration from gas inhalation. They live in cuckoo land. BUT this does not blur the fact that Israel is a colonial settlement enterprise based on denying the rights of the indigenous Arab (never mind the term Palestinian) population; and that Israel is clearly moving towards fascism. Was land belonging to the Rahma family confiscated to build the nearby Jewish settlement? If so, were they compensated? In April 2009 the Israeli supreme court ordered the fence moved. Why has the Israeli government and IDF still not moved the fence? And does this mean that it is the IDF not the protesters who are breaking Israeli law?
