seadog1946 ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (01.06.11)
these US Corporations... I thought it's illegal to bribe foreign officials according to the "Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977".
3. I believe this story. No goods must be
Moshe ,   Netanya   (01.06.11)
allowed from Motorolla, HP, etc. The people that took bribes should spend years in jail. They will sell Mother and Shalit for cash
4.  WikiLeaks, are you sure ?!?!
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.06.11)
Can't Believe It ! "IDF" is the most moral army in the world", True as we say, the rope of lying is very short : )
5. Find out who they are
Chaya ,   Tel Aviv   (01.06.11)
and arrest them and bring them to trial!
6. Bravo Wikileaks
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (01.06.11)
This is why Wikileaks is so important. We need to know where there is corruption. We need to know if corruption is just some low-level officials demanding a bribe or if it is a system of businessmen who promoted the "peace process" to make money from our blood. We need to know if there were politicians who profited from this corruption.
7. To Salma, No.4
Observer 1 ,   Lagos, Nigeria   (01.06.11)
Corruption is a canker worm, be it from here or from there. I just don't know what Salma is deriding. Honestly, I don't. Is it true that you seem to take pleasure in evil? I stand to be corrected. I will humbly accept your facts & figures showing there is any other army anywhere in the whole world so conscious of moral and human aspects in their activities. But then why am I wasting my time trying to reason with you? Nobody is blinder than she who refuses to see. Is that what that how the saying goes? Poor me, I can't even remember the right words of a popular proverb.
8. And who is paying to secure that crossing?
Yehuda   (01.06.11)
If it were me, I would not allow anything to be delivered across that border. They are at war with us. Plain and simple.
9. why should Caza crossing be different?
M.Oliver ,   Israel   (01.06.11)
Corruption is a name of the game here at all levels, sadly
10. Something Smells...
Edwin   (01.06.11)
...fishy about this story. While I have no direct contact with Gaza, I have lived and worked in other Islamic countries that have their fair share of people purporting to be Gazians and Palestinians. These people will not drink Coca Cola or use Caterpillar equipment, among a long list of brands, because of their alleged connections to the IDF. I had an experience where a so-called Palestinian lost a very important business deal because he refused to meet his business contact in a Starbucks. So why would they compromise these strongly-held values at their ground zero, so to speak?
11. idf and corruption
sjoerd van der velde ,   hoorn-the netherland   (01.06.11)
the idf is not the only moral army of the world. we can also say and write that all people are perfect, good and that all people are saints and angels!
12. Why would anyone be surprised?
Mikesailor ,   Miami, FL   (01.06.11)
When you have an institution answerable to nobody but themselves, which claims that any investigation of wrongdoing, for whatever reason, is detrimental to 'national security'. And which has been known to lie repeatedly; to the public, the other branches of the government and the courts with absolute impunity. Then why would anyone be surprised that some members take the opportunity to 'feather their own nest'? Comical to say the least..
13. I'm shocked ;) ,...
split ,   US   (01.06.11)
Israelis creating misery and profit of it and Americans that know about it, can do something and won't ? ,...

Drew ,   U.s.   (01.06.11)
Only thing funnier than the "moral army" is the "the Palestinians want peace and co-existence.". Smart to read Israeli papers as opposed to Palestinian. I'm guessing Palestinian papers are not too critical of....PALESTINIANS. Funny how the Israeli press can speak the truth, but your leaders hide behind their wall and pretend like they are such a peace-loving bunch.
