1. OMG!!! The vaunted IDF has invented,
seadog1946 ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (01.06.11)
with it's own hands, out of thin air, a truly unique, miniaturized Inertial Navigation System... it will astound the world.
2. Interesting UK Device as well.Determins origin of enemy fire
Alan ,   SA   (01.06.11)
I saw in UK Newspaper apparatus on wrist that can sense where enemy shooting is coming from . This is calculated by sound of the bang.It tells the wearer which direction he must return fire
3. Alan @ 2, British device is redundant. One can always
leo ,   usa   (01.06.11)
determine where bullet came from by the direction opposite to the way brains are splattered.
4. Best of British

Well, thus far the technology has eluded the United States. To date, the best the U.S. has managed to do is produce inertial navigation systems that require rather large gyroscopes and accelerometers. There is nothing in the U.S. arsenal that is the size of a matchbox. Well, well. You tried to be sarcastic and demeaning towards Israeli technology and, per usual, fell flat on your face. There's a surprise! We are astounded, I tell you! Astounded!

There's a restaurant in New York called A Salt and Battery that makes the best fish and chips on the U.S. side of the puddle. They used to wrap the fish and chips in used newspaper, but then some idiot patron with no sense of tradition complained to the Board of Health, and they were forced to stop. The fish and chips are still the best you can find in the United States, but I do miss the newspaper. Wax paper just doesn't quite do it ....
