1. Here is the establishment "Pollack": This is a Jewish state
Yaakove ,   Israel   (01.11.11)
that democratically lected a government that is against splitting the only capital weve ever had. got a problem with that? Dont call yourself a Jew, call yourself hamas, leftist, anarchist, arabist or ignorant. all are fairly synonymous..
2. I find it funny when lefty get arrested for "disturbing the
ghostq   (01.11.11)
peace" charge, the irony is so big, I hope they won't go easy on him. cause he not only caused disturbance (he look demented) he also cost the israelies by waiting in trafic. well time to pay.
3. ummm, as our well-known proverb says:
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.11.11)
The dance begins with a swagger.
4. Family business
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (01.11.11)
They have too much money, too much free time and too little Jewishness inside their minds and hearts. That's why they act like that. Let him rot in jail and send his father make him company!
5. The reason
john   (01.11.11)
The reason he is going to jail is that he broke the law in a number of ways - NOT because he protests certain political issues. Do not be sucked in by the drama. He is the one who has made his own prison sentence political...not the government. The government offered him community service with no jail time. Break the law, you pay the price. No matter if you are on the left or right.
6. What a joke!
Paul ,   NY   (01.11.11)
This guy is the dirt of Israel. Revoke is citizenship and deport this idiot!
7. The stupid 'left' will never make it right.
josef   (01.11.11)
I do agree with yossi pollack's conclusion " we are in a deterioration phase ".His yonatan is part of this deterioration, and equally part of the obstacle that seem to prevail in today's israeli society. He objected to the sentence and obviously prefers to show off his masculinity, to Schvitz and show that he is a He-man and can take it. One poor imbecile too many.
8. Deserves greater Punishment
arthur ,   haifa   (01.11.11)
He has engaged in violence against soldiers and police with his anarcho-fascist mates
9. About the proverb
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.11.11)
When my grandmother used to see one of us doing something bad, and felt that this action could be an indication of a lifestyle of the same, she would say the well-known proverb, “The dance begins with a swagger.” Today I want to talk about a new “swagger”. Maybe two years ago, Abbas said that he would not think of putting himself forward for the presidency a second time. Today on the news there were rumours that he was sticking to what he had said. And of course the political “elite” in this country are protesting and expressing their support for the president as if He who created him had created no one else. Of course all this business reminded me of many other similar situations. For example, when we were young, and enjoyed the children's programmes on Syrian television, we always used to see maybe four to five thousand young and old people sitting in the stands of the stadium, lifting their fists in the air and crying, “We will sacrifice ourselves for you for ever, Hafez Al Assad!” Naturally Hafez died, and if there weren’t pictures of him filling the streets and public places in Syria no one would remember him, because there is a new person they have to now sacrifice themselves for.
10. Anarchist!
Lippy ,   Proud Israeli   (01.11.11)
Pollak is a defined anarchist. His statement "on the day I'm released I'll continue to do the same thing. " is nothing but that of an anarchist. BTW, Salma, he is in favour of two states, so that you will be free to claim him if it ever transpires!
11. #9 is not mine,
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.11.11)
However, there is some logic in that post , i like it, thank you FAKE salma ; )
12. causing a traffic jam is not legitimate protest
Golan ,   Modinn   (01.11.11)
blocking intersection is not a legitimate protest. throwing stones is not a legitimate protest. marching around with pan Arab Fascist (the so called PLO or "Palestinian") flag is a legitimate (though questionable) form of protest. Throwing a hot cup of tea in Yael Dayan's face is also not a legitimate form of protest. So grow up.
13. Jail rioting settlers!
Canadian Dude ,   Montreal   (01.11.11)
If Pollack's in jail for "rioting", it would only be fair that settlers would get the same treatment, right? If not, it's time for Israel to declare to the world that she is no longer a democracy, so the world can do its thing and cut off all trade and travel markets, and all financial support.
14. Home sweet home, don't like it leave!
Facist ,   Israel   (01.11.11)
15. DONT WORRY EU EUROPEANS WILL POST BAIL
eevin   (01.11.11)
