1. Military option against Iran
TAHRIR QUDS ALYAHUDI   (01.11.11)
No smoke without fire
2. Settlements Part 1
Robert Blum ,   New York USA   (01.11.11)
US President Barack Obama consistently couches his demand that Israel prohibit Jewish people from constructing or expanding our homes and communities in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria in legal-sounding language. Obama has called settlements "illegitimate." And he has said that Israel "has obligations under the road map," while referring disparagingly to "settlements that, in past agreements, have been categorized as illegal." Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Obama's Middle East envoy George Mitchell have repeatedly uttered similar statements. By characterizing its demand that Israel prohibit Jews from building homes in Israel's capital city and its heartland as a legal requirement, the Obama administration portrays Israel as an international outlaw. After all, if building homes for Jews is a crime, and Israel is not prohibiting Jews from building homes, then Israel is at best guilty of enabling a crime to take place, and at worst, it is a criminal state. It makes good political sense for the Obama administration to make its case against Israel in this fashion. According to a survey of US public opinion published in early 2006 by the Boston Review, whereas only 7 percent of Democrats support going to war to spread democracy - versus 53% of Republicans; 71% of Democrats - versus 36% of Republicans - support going to war to help the United Nations "uphold international law." What this poll shows is that for Obama supporters, the idea that Israel should be treated poorly because it is in breach of international law resonates deeply. The problem with the Obama administration's characterization of a ban on Jewish building in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as an Israeli legal obligation is that Israel has never taken upon itself a legal obligation to prohibit such building activities. Israel has never signed an agreement that has characterized any Jewish communities as "illegal."
3. I love Bibi
Shlomo ,   Kfar Saba, Israel   (01.11.11)
He's not weak! Strong and honest PM is good for the State. No doubt. I love Bibi!
4. Serious.
Jules   (01.11.11)
Bibi is always extremely careful choosing his words. Since he has pronounced the word "war" this time, the situation is really very serious. Iranian regime may choose a direct military confrontation if they feel they are on the brink of collapse.
5. ABOUT TIME
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (01.11.11)
Bibi grew a pair .Kol Hakavod.
6. Iran
George ,   USA   (01.11.11)
The US does not need another war. We have nothing to gain by going to war with Iran. Israel can build illegal settlements an fight Iran if it wishes. The US has to end the two wars its fighting and let the UN handle the middle-east. We need to end all our foreign spending and use it in our own country.
7. Great Job USA!
shrinkDave ,   Miami   (01.12.11)
Viet Nam: Check. Afghanastan: Check. Iraq: Check. Not only doesn't the US need another war, George # 6, but if you were an Israeli strategist, would you want the US involved in anything military? Helluva job Bushie!

13. Living in a state of delusion is he.
Chris.B ,   Australia   (01.12.11)
If there was a military option it would have been used by now Israel is well aware of its limitations in fighting a protracted war against Iran so is America weary of the consequences of such danger. I remember this nutbag saying in Israeli media after the 9/11 attack "this is good for Israel" what did he mean?. Americans have better things to do than clean up any Israeli misadventures.
14. Iran - What Israeli Commitment?
Mark of Lewiston ,   Lewiston USA   (01.12.11)
What is Bibi willing to put up on Israel's behalf? A Division or two to sit in the Persian Gulf on our troop ships along side US Marines? Is he willing to commit half the IAF and two thirds of the Israeli Navy to Diego Garcia duty? For how many years? At whose expense. The US is broke. Two unpaid for wars and a financial meltdown have done in the US economy and our new Congress isn't willing to pay even our current debt obligations. The US military is spread in war zones around the world, from Korea to Afghanistan to Iraq, and we still haven't withdrawn from Europe or Japan. We don't have the troops available. Somebody else has to ante up. What is Bibi willing to ante up? For how many years?
15. Bibi, The same goes for Judea and Samaria
BJL ,   usa   (01.12.11)

Baruch ,   Marin County, CA   (01.12.11)
You go, Bibi: Build Yehuda v'Shomron, pursue Israel's enemies, and stand up for what is right. Don't stop, and don't look back. Keep going. Israel is the world's last best hope for what is right... Be proud. Go Israel!

20. The question of Jerusalem
ruby ,   SA   (01.12.11)
Where was the world when Jordan annexed the east side of the Jordan river and claimed Jerusalem for itself? When were they allowed to claim Jerusalem ? Where was the world when the Jordanians went on a killing spree trying to rid its "Palestinian refugee" problem in the early 1970s? I believe Israel has every right to redeem land that belongs to her . Jordan and Lebanon have a lot to answer to when it comes to human rights violations.

22. You are Wrong Sir.
Orao. ,   Srbia.   (01.12.11)
PM: Must be military option against Iran Netanyahu tells foreign correspondents Iranians will cancel nuclear program 'only if they believe they are facing a credible military option at the end of the tunnel.' Comment - Only a Comprehensive Military Strike, will Cancel Irans Nuclear Program. Orao.Srbia.
23. #13 Living in a state of confusion
Ringo ,   US   (01.12.11)
Lying doesn't add to your credibility. Netanyahu never said 9/11 was good for Israel. Your memory is saturated with Islamic media.
24. BIBI is paralyzed
Sheik Rattle & Roll ,   USA   (01.12.11)
Israel can't fight Iran or Hezbollah. It will set back the Israeli economy 10 years and paralyze it's citizens. Israel better get use to a Nuclear Iran because that is one fight the US cant afford financially or militarily and neither can Israel. Iran is not a one and done country it will fight tooth and nail to the bitter end. I see Iran with the bomb or with the capability to produce a bomb because the US can live with a nuclear Iran. The only country that can take out Iran is the US military and that is not going to happen. Israel will not attack Iran alone it doesn't have the power to sustain a war.
