Why Arabs trying to kill the new Prince during his wedding in April? Poor guy. Answer this simple question.
33. "Brutal and harsh reality..." truly existed when a bus a day
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.13.11)
full of women, men and children would be blown up by the people presently east of the "wall" - a metal security fence, incidentally!! - but of course since those blown up were Jews, they don't count as victims of "brutal and harsh reality..."!!
34. How about Spain's wall? Mexico-U.S. Wall? Hypocrite!
Robert Blum ,   new York USA   (01.13.11)
Is he appauled by the necessary wall that other countries erect? Is he boycotting America? Spain, etc.? The English have hated Jews for almost 1,000 years! By the way, the other countries, unlike Israel, have no terrorists shooting rockets and infiltrating in order to commit atrocitites against its innocent citizens. The Muslims invented the words 'West Bank' to suit their political agenda. It is Samaria and Judea, eternally Jewish land, given to the Jews by G-d! The Jews recovered it when Israel defeated Jordan which attacked Israel in a war started by Islam. The displaced people, the JORDANIANS, reinvented themselves in order to gain world sympathy, calling themselves 'Palestinians', instead of Jordanians, since only the 1960's!
35. I support the construction of the Wall
Esteban ,   Argentina   (01.13.11)
It saved hundreds of lives. Long life to the State of Israel!
36. How is an intelligent person so dumb?
rebecca ,   Modiin   (01.13.11)
37. Loach may yet see the BRITISH boycotted
Bodkin   (01.13.11)
There are a few staunch supporters of Israel in Britain, but ONLY a few. In general, they cravenly appease the Islamist aggressors in their midst by bashing Israel with nauseating sanctimony. The chattering classes are antisemitic weasels to the core, and would disdain Israel even without the pressure from the unruly Muslims they fear. The formerly "Great" Britain is plunging rapidly into an abyss. As a country, they command far less respect on the world stage than they once did. Many of their leading cultural figures are predictably antagonistic, condescending and self-serving where Israel is concerned. One exception is Paul McCartney, who defied the threat of suicide bombings and bravely performed a concert in Israel recently. A wall that saves innocent lives is hardly grotesque; it's a godsend. Only a man who sides with butchers would lament such a barrier. It may yet come to pass that Loach will witness a counter-boycott of his increasingly disreputable homeland. Perhaps a quiet Jewish boycott of the UK is already underway.
38. The man should get real, this is not a film script
Jonny ,   Cape Town   (01.13.11)
He has read to many film scripts, this is the real world, where people put up walls to protect themselves. Wonder when he is going to do a movie on the secretarian violence in Iraq?
39. Loach Tells Truth
World Citizen ,   the world   (01.13.11)
When the Americans have been broken, and they will, then the UN will mandate a true change. The Israelis won't like it but the scale of economics that will be brought to bear on them will break their will. They will follow international law. They will set up a democratically elected government for all the people (including those thrown out in 1948) in one secular state or Palestine will come into existence on all of the West Bank and Gaza with their capitol in East Jerusalem. It is just a matter of time.
40. Loach-Trotskyite Moron
Louis Fried ,   Woodbridge, Canada   (01.13.11)
Who cares what this Trotskyite moron has to say. Do not ennoble his absurd remarks by giving them the publicity they do not deserve.

Lilliane ,   Brighton, UK   (01.13.11)

44. THE WALL
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (01.13.11)
The wall is the most beautiful structure I have ever seen in my life (and I have seen lots) . Want to know why ? BECAUSE IT SAVES LIVES.
45. LOACH
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (01.13.11)
The fool can not even wear his bow tie straight (see above photo) .
46. Walls
Elchanan ,   Brooklyn NY Usa   (01.13.11)
The laughable hypocrisy of Mr. Loach in complaining about his shock in seeing the security wall can easily be demonstrated by reviewing this quote from Wikipedia (admittedly not always a fully accurate site) about walls in his homeland "The Peace Lines are a series of separation barriers in Northern Ireland that separate Catholic and Protestant neighbourhoods. They have been built at urban "interface areas" in Belfast, Derry, Portadown and elsewhere. The stated purpose of the barriers is to minimize inter-communal violence between Catholics (who mainly self-identify as Irish) and Protestants (who mainly self-identify as British), and between nationalists and unionists. The barriers range in length from a few hundred yards to over three miles (5 km). They may be made of iron, brick, and/or steel and are up to 25 feet (7.6 m) high. Some have gates in them (sometimes manned by police) that allow passage during daylight but are closed at night. The first barriers were built in the early 1970s, following the outbreak of "The Troubles". There were built as temporary structures because they were indeed meant to be temporary, lasting only six months, but due to their effective nature they have become more permanent, wider and longer. Originally few in number, they have multiplied over the years, from 18 in the early 1990s to 40 today; in total they stretch over 13 miles (21 km). Most are located in Belfast. In recent years they have become locations for tourism. Black Taxis now take groups of tourists around Belfast's Peace Lines, trouble spots and famous murals. The most prominent barriers in the past few years separate: the nationalist Falls Road and unionist Shankill Road areas of West Belfast; the Catholic Short Strand from the Protestant Cluan Place areas of East Belfast; and the Protestant Fountain estate and Catholic Bishop Street area of Derry. In 2008 a public discussion began about how and when the barriers could be removed. Many of the residents who live in the communities beside the peace lines have expressed their anger at any suggestion that they will be taken down.
47. Roach
Michael,Canada ,   Canada   (01.13.11)
Ken Cockroach's warped mind speaks. His lousy films must be boycotted.
48. And we let him in to the country because
Russ ,   tlv   (01.14.11)
Isn't this the main reason why we are investigating the NGOs - because they have international backing for their campaigns to delegitimise Israel?
49. #10
nr ,   los angeles, usa   (01.14.11)
Wonder if he's shocked by honor killings? My guess is he'd support them as a unique cultural identity. Works for me.
50. The question isn't about the fence...
Aaron ,   Singapore   (01.15.11)
but who is the one building the fence and why?
