There are a few staunch supporters of Israel in Britain, but ONLY a few. In general, they cravenly appease the Islamist aggressors in their midst by bashing Israel with nauseating sanctimony. The formerly "Great" Britain is plunging rapidly into an abyss. As a country, they command far less respect on the world stage than they once did. Many of their leading cultural figures are predictably antagonistic, condescending and self-serving where Israel is concerned. One exception is Paul McCartney, who defied the threat of suicide bombings and bravely performed a concert in Israel recently. A wall that saves innocent lives is hardly grotesque; it's a godsend. Only a man who sides with butchers would lament such a barrier. It may yet come to pass that Loach will witness a counter-boycott of his increasingly disreputable homeland. Perhaps a quiet Jewish boycott of the UK is already underway.

When the Americans have been broken, and they will, then the UN will mandate a true change.
