Israel shares a problem with the US - a flood of illegal immigration. Mexicans flooding into the US take their chances on stealing one border. Those entering Israel - many of them legitimate refugees but many more of them not - trek hundreds of miles through hostile territory at the risk of getting shot any time. They all come from Africa, mostly Sudan. Many, if not most, are Muslim. Why Israel? Why not Syria or Lebanon or Jordan or Egypt or Libya or the Palestinian territories?
