1. About Erdogan' government.
Steven ,   Rockville, USA   (01.13.11)
The same can be said about the Turkish Government: this is far the worst government since Ataturk, and Erdogan is the problem.
2. What a moron... Start by admitting the genocide
Arthur ,   SF, CA   (01.13.11)
of Armenians; give up Western Armenia; allow Kurds their own state.
3. The world blames Lieberman for being "belligerent"...
Tahl ,   Ashdod   (01.13.11)
But Erdogan gets a carte-blanche to fan the flames of hatred and animosity toward Israel as much as he wants. No one in the hypocrite world criticizes him 1/10 as much as they do with Lieberman.
4. Fm Turkish POV therefore best in history from Israeli POV
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (01.13.11)
Turkish interests <> Israeli interests.
5. Dear Mr. Erdogan
Shmuel ,   Maale Adumim   (01.13.11)
mind your own business and apologize to the Armanians. Just wait till we vote Netenyahu out and Mr. Lieberman becomes PM!
6. So - the Israeli Left have a new ally!
Z Lando ,   Tekoa, Israel   (01.13.11)
To all ASHamed Jews, I say: "when you sleep with dogs, don't wonder you wake up with fleas"
7. Some pieces of Turkish peace policies
Egon B.E. Friberger ,   Brussels, Belgium   (01.13.11)
A priority of Turkish EU membership could be – encouraged, among others, by Comissioner Karel De Guchdt - the elimination of the ‘Jewish Conspiracy’ and everyone involved with her. Conspiracy theories usually are the symptom of the madness of far right, far left or any other over the edge direction. Lady Ashton, what is the fate of a large number of high quality Turkish citizens loyal to Ata Turk and to Nato, and thus to Turkey’s long term future as a bridge between perfectly compatible cultures? However questionable Mr. Lieberman, he keeps being more moderate than any critic of Israel. Those who claim, at home or abroad and mostly unisono, that PM Netanyahu's government were the most evil, feel most probably frustrated it reinvigorated the tradition of the best and fear it may last a long time, even in the face of those who try to burn down her and Israel’s reputation.

10. If Liebarman is a problem for Erdogan means
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (01.13.11)
he is good for Israel. Simlpe logic.
11. Who asked him
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (01.13.11)
When he sent the IHH terrorists with broken wheelchairs and expired medicine to Gaza, Erdogan made it clear that he does not want relations with Israel. We got the hint, and aren't interested in seeing his face or hearing about his thoughts. Why doesn't he just shut up.
12. Erdogan is the problem
Ivan   (01.13.11)
Erdogen is like a race horse and controlled by his Iranian jockey. The day will come when he has a bad fall and Lieberman can have a good laugh.
13. ... I have absolutely no time for Erdogan, but...
jonathan ,   London/ Israel   (01.13.11)
his perspective regarding Lieberman (&the current government), I regret is absolutely correct. Israelis squirm when external/ International opinion gets involved and criticizes anything to do with Israeli leadership and policy. But the question is, why are so many critisizing? What are they seeing that some Israelis refuse to? Are they indeed against Israel?, or is Israel against itself? I do not condone Erdogan's policy for one second, but as a Jewish Israeli, I hang my head in shame to be represented by the current goverment. We need to stop being the victim and blaming everyone else, and take a long hard look at ourselves!
14. Erdogan is the problem not Lieberman
sadiq ,   tel aviv, israel   (01.13.11)
15. Erdogan says Lieberman is despicable
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.13.11)
and yes he's right.
16. Lieberman should take it as a compliment.
Michael   (01.13.11)
17. Erdogan is Monkeying
Eran ,   Singapore   (01.13.11)
The whole western world recognizes that APK..and Erdogan are the problem in the Middle East. _ just read wikileaks This is said and repeated even in Turkey by the Turks again and again. So not so brilliand Erdogan. Thnik of something else...and apologise to Ivet.
18. Erdogan should apologize
Benjamin ,   Philippines   (01.13.11)
Trukish PM Erdogan should first show an example by apologising for the Armenian genocide, pay compensation and return the lands that belonged to the Armenians people.
19. Lieberman is the best thing in Israel's 63 years history
(01.13.11)
1) The best thing that Lieberman becomes the Prime Minister 2) If not, a night club bouncer again and for the rest of his life
20. Matter of time
Roy ,   Miami   (01.13.11)
Once more, Erdogan has proved himself a 'little man'. Instead of ignoring the insults as do most of the western world leaders, he has decided to respond in the same way as Ahmadenijad or Assad would. Liebermanis right not to take him seriously. The average Turk has a far greater grasp on reality than does Mr Erdogan. Perhaps after his departure, the 'Turkish way' will once more dictate reasonable and responsible behavior.
21. They are defending their land ...
Micha ,   Frankfurt   (01.13.11)
... by firing missiles into other people's land? ... by killing their own brothers if those are running a christian bookstore in Gaza? ... by calling for destruction of their neighbor's country even if they completely depend on them economically? Hm.
22. Respect
Rachel ,   US   (01.13.11)
Lieberman is probably the only minister the Turks respect. They don't like him, but they do respect the guy for punching back.
23. EU, the US, Canada and Japan disagree!
michael redbourn ,   arad israel   (01.13.11)
In addition to Israel, the European Union, the United States, Canada and Japan all consider Hamas to be a terrorist organization! President Atatürk must be turning in his grave seeing his brave and wonderful work undone. Get rid of Lieberman? If not PM then he will be much stronger after the next elections. Michael
24. Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (01.13.11)
Who cares what the Supreme Turkey says?
25. lieberman for defence minister & bananas
banana   (01.13.11)
26. one argument follows the other
david ,   new york   (01.13.11)
if hamas is not a terrorist organization then (logically speaking) the netanyahu government is the worst government in israel's history.
27. You're living in the past, Mr. Erdogan: the days of the
Bat Zion ,   Central Israel   (01.13.11)
Ottoman Empire are long gone. You can't tell us what to do anymore.
28. Kick em out of NATO
Sheik Rattle & Roll ,   USA   (01.13.11)
Wait suicide bombers are not terrorist. The world, Nato, UN is in trouble when a head of state of a strategic country states that an organization that has sent suicide bombers to strike civilian targets is not a terrorist organization.
29. 22 - How do they respect him? do you have
Dave   (01.13.11)
deeds to substantiate it?
30. erdogan
alexi   (01.13.11)
lieberman called erdogan a liar which he is, 100% cheap populist. He calls hamas not a terrorist organisatin, that they fire missiles at israel is irrelevant to him and they fired first. Hamas could have an airport and full commercial ties if it was peaceful which it is not. israel does not occupy 1 cm of gaza and erdogan says it otherwise. He is a cheap liar playing with fire. He never did his military service and has little appreciation for the military similar to olmert who had no idea and in fact hated the military which is why he was such a failure at it. That olmert trusted erdogan is treasonous and all of his alleged crimes pale in comparison to this huge mistake by olmert. He said erdogan was fair. Erdogan's wife emine,an arab has a huge hold on erdogan, wears her veil and is extreme. Much like olmert's wife whose politics was meretz and foisted on olmert. Erdogan is in bed with the IHH marmora knives and clubs and lied about them. You now why greece is so depressed with turkish planes buzzing its peaceful neighbour. And erdogan accuses peres, a pacifist of knowing well how to kill while erdogan's kin killed over a million of armenians and kurds. Israel has no lessons to learn from this cheap liar along with his beilin stooge, dovotogolu. And israel will not be apologizing to anyone, least of all islamic turkey, an insult to attark who is rolling in his grave. Raycip, go with the arabs, eat shwarma with them and go to allah!
