"A" was told that she would not get work anywhere and was put into a situation of total fear. She would not make all of this effort if the person was not guilty. She could not get away, and was in a sitation of total helplessness. The comments that some of the talkbacks made were unrealistic and my feeling is that they have no knowledge of how horrible a thing this is. Rape is an act of violence against another human being - reaching into the most intimate parts of the body and using them as a vessel for the rapist's ejaculate. It is a horror. This is a small country, people knew that this was going on and did nothing because they knew that they were dealing with thugs who might harm them. The judicial system won this round but who knows about the next one? Sad thing is that this man should have never been elevated to high office, he is not a class act, no connections on an international level and not much of a following at home.

What a disgusting bunch of misfits the lot of them - Katsav being leader of the gang. The state should stop paying them anything - they should not receive benefits or compensation - NOTHING! The line has to be drawn somewhere and if the State continues to financially support a convicted rapist and his gang of hoods, then we should all pack up and move elsewhere. Show the world we are disgusted at their behaviour and we won't tolerate it - it's called damage control.
