4. why not Israel One (again)
Golan ,   Modiin   (01.17.11)
after all why not be associated again with that Barak failure. The problem is the so called "new way of thinking aka appeasement policy and refusal to give up the false hope of peace with the pan Arab National Socialists Baathist PLO.
5. The most important thing to Barak
Zev ,   Israel   (01.17.11)
is to hold on to his ministirial seat.
6. Anything: just as long as he splits from politics and
tom ,   tel aviv   (01.17.11)
my PC-screen/newspapers. How sad, that the Israeli politicians managed to bring me to this level of bitterness, cynism and overall disappointment with human race...:-(
7. Heres a name.....
Eli F. ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.17.11)
"BARAK-GO HOME ALREADY"!!!
8. Barak Splits...
Bruria   (01.17.11)
It will be of no use until he splits from politics and Israel altogether!
9. Labour down the toilet.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (01.17.11)
Another fine example of the selfish, self-interested, opportunistic, unprincipled, & unscrupulous nature of our politicians. So, a few more rats abandon the sinking ship of a crap political party not out of any adherence to principle, however wrong-headed, but only out of self-interest - anything to stay in a position of power & influence. Now if you think that Labour's well-deserved demise is reason to be pleased, please note that Labour has in reality been replaced by Kadima which has moved far left inspired by the same miserable opportunism & lack of principle that brought Labour to ruin. Our politicians are truely disgusting.
10. "center voice of israel"...
eporue ,   europe   (01.17.11)
im not sure, if barak is any bad. he is intelligent and moderate. all what is needed in a democracy.
11. Death of the left: a sad day for Israel
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (01.17.11)
The left continues its suicidal path to extinction in Israel. The label "left" really doesn't apply anyway and hasn't for years, since Meretz and Labor abandoned social democracy in favor of their one-issue agenda: land for peace. Israel is now desperately in need of a left-of-center political party to address the needs of the nation: jobs, equality, health, education, and 101 other issues including that elusive one - the peace process.
12. New Law Knesset member who no longer agree with the party li
richi ,   EIlat Israel   (01.17.11)
Israeli citizens vote for political parties and their ideas. Not for individual member of parliament. The ego of parlimentarians in this country has gone far and beyond the realms of good taste. If a member of Knesset or government minister finds themselves disagreeing with their political party, they need either to convince the party to change or resign from the knesset. The swapping and changing of party affilation is non democratic and spits in the face of the electorate who voted. Either that or we should change the political system to a constinuency system such as the system used in the UK.
13. BARAK NEW PRESIDENT OF TUNISIA
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (01.17.11)
Now THAT would be good news (what have they done to deserve him ? )

AL ,   Tel Aviv   (01.17.11)
Great ;-)
17. Good news for all national lager.
Joav ,   Germany   (01.17.11)
The leftists parties have no concept, the only thing they can is, shout it on every corner that we need a "peace" with so called "palestinian". I think that after Oslo, every person has seen what is the "peace" worth, when you concluded with moslems, not even a penny!
18. Best name: "Imploding Israel"
SyrianFreedomEagle   (01.17.11)
19. Barak needs to learn he is no Ariel Sharon
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (01.17.11)
Sharon tried to do this when he formed Kadima. Barak will find that his new faction will have no mandates in the next government as he has abandoned his core and is perceived to have sold out to keep his job rather than his party.
20. the name change 'game.....but it's all the 'same
tiki ,   belgium   (01.17.11)
Sharon split from LIKUD, changed to KADIMA, which is now turning into LABOUR. In the end, old will be new......Likud against Labour (kadima), with on each side the 'fringe parties as bargening chips.
21.  Barak should name it "Akhora" ; )
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.17.11)
The normal situation is "Akhora" yesterday and "Kadima" today, cuz People moving forward and not going back, but you know it's "Israel" : )
