No need to go into specifics but there have been in-depth studies done by Christians themselves attesting to the fact that Christianity is a manufactured religion that persecuted Judaism because it was competing with them. for we see the church & many protestant denominations have strayed too far from the intentions of Yeshua and original Disciples. Yeshua said he was not there to change Judaism yet those that followed did far too much to attract followers, and later the Roman Catholics for power sold out Jewish belief system which too many found difficult to adhere to. Today we are left with a Christianity of the liberals and the Vatican that I want nothing to do with. I commend you for your stand. But you should recognize that the Roman Catholic Church has defined Christianity from the beginning (135 CE). Your disagreement with their doctrines doesn't mean that you have authority to redefine Christianity and, therefore, they are not Christians. The fact is that they are the true Christians. Rather, you need to recognize that your disagreement with, and being different from, those original Christian doctrines means that you're the one not a Christian--and that's good! Many Christians are native to Israel and many of them (unlike the Muslims) have been living in Israel since the time of the Roman occupation. Now, Christians in all of the Middle East are in grave danger of physical and cultural extermination at the hands of Islam, look at the Christian population of Gaza and Bethlehem ever since Israel surrendered these lands to Muslim rule. It is a moral imperative to save these people. I would go further than George, and suggest that there be a population exchange: Muslims living in Israel (including Judea and Samaria) who refuse to accept Israeli rule move back to their homelands Lebanon, Syria and Iraq and Israel accept Christian refugees instead.
