What Hariri said in 2007 is not relevant, why you ask? Because he had limited evidence at that point or maybe he had seen something that pointed to Syrian guilt. But as we all know new evidence can come about that changes a persons belief. So this just a PR trick by Hezbollah to mislead the public. They are saying, look, Hariri Jr. thought it was the Syrians not Hezbollah. They seek to confuse the situation, to create a reasonable doubt for their people. They know Hezbollah would lose popularity if they are implicated in this murder. Remember Nasrallah said he had all kinds of information that would prove his innocence and Israeli guilt. What happened? All the info he supplied was old and irrelevant, the UN tribunal had already seen it, and dismissed it. Nasrallah tried and failed to implicate Israel, he failed. So back to the distractions, the oldest trick in the book.

It's as plain as the nose on the face that Syria murdered President Hariri. It was just about that time that I was in Lebanon. I saw with my own eyes what thoroughly wicked people the Syrians were. Including their very own, they hated everything but especially a Westerner.

I think you should look for the logicial people behind it such as the American C.I.A. and so the Israeli Mossad they probably hope to weaken the Arabs at least weaken Lebanon thus they think weaken Hezbollah and so Syria that is how American Israeli minds work RIGHT and so that is the logicial direction to look but they made it look seem as if Hezbollah Syria did it why would Hezbollah Syria do it and so no not cover up but make it look like they did it see how it goes thing is there is no proof no proof will may ever exist who the American Israeli agents were you may be sure of that they made a clean getaway RIGHT ??? I realize the bitterness that Hariri has for the assassination of his father although understandable seems to cloud his better judgement perhaps with a clear thinking Najib Mikati as the P M Lebanon may be able to solve many differences because Hariri certainly could not billionaires need to think with a clear mind he needs a rest time to reflect to get over his own bitterness who killed his father will never be proven West East Israel Syria no body knows no body may ever know but what matters is what is best for Lebanon for the middle east as a whole good luck Mikati I hope you find solutions RIGHT ???
